Anna University has officially started off the application process for the TANCET exam 2024. They started accepting applications on January 10, which means you can start preparing and submitting your application right away. The entrance exam itself is scheduled to take place on March 9, 2024.

Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies offers a two-year, full-time MBA programme at the postgraduate level. Candidates who have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from Engineering as well as Arts, Science and Commerce field and who have obtained at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates who belong to reserved category) in the qualifying examination, can apply for admission. Admission to the MBA offered at VIMS is based on percentile obtained by candidates in the TANCET / CET/ MAT / CAT/ other entrance tests, as well as the performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Therefore, candidates can appear for any entrance examination, and it is not compulsory to appear for TANCET for admission to MBA at VIMS.

In order to seek admission at Hallmark Business School, TANCET qualified candidates need to register for TANCET Counselling and appear for the certificate verification process, post which DTE releases the TANCET rank list. Students with their names in TANCET rank list must pay counselling fee and exercise choices.

The TANCET syllabus varies according to the subject the candidate is appearing for, syllabus for MBA includes 5 sections- Business Analysis, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Sufficiency. The syllabus for M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch is divided into 3 parts- Engineering Mathematics, Basic Engineering & Sciences, and specialized subjects depending on the course. And, the syllabus for MCA includes topics from 4 sections- Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning.
