Hello,
The eligibilty criteria of NMAT only says that you should have a minimum of graduation degree of 3 years or more then you are eligible to give NMAT exam. Having one year drop will not create any difficulty for you while giving exam or while taking admission.
You will just have to prepare your justification for that year gap with legitimate reason, if you are able to do so you will not face any difficulty at anywhere.
Hope this helps!
If you are thinking to prepare for NMAT in 10 days then you can do several things like solving previous year paper questions and giving mocks frequently. If you have good command on subjects then may be you will get qualified. But according to me if you want to score high then 10 days is a very short time to prepare for Nmat. Although work hard and give it a try, while doing this at least you will cover most of the sections of this exam and you can reappear for it next time with a better preparation .
Congrats that you have got 177 in your first attempt but you need to work hard because there is least probability that you will get admission into NMIMS with this marks.
Ideally, NMIMS prefer 200 plus for the admission. With this mark you will not get NMIMS Mumbai. It is quite hard to get admission with 177 score. My advise for you is that prepare again and try to get marks around 215 and if the difficulty level of paper will be easy then you should target around 250.
Best of luck.
Dear aspirant,
KJ Somaiya is one among the good b school in India and accepts many exam scores like CAT, XAT and NMAT.
It has weightage for other aspects too and having good gold on personality, GD, academics and work experience i.e overall profile also counts in selection of the candidate.
The cutoff for kj somaiya last year in NMAT was around 220-230 score. And the cutoff will be nearly same with variations of 4-5 marks in last year cutoff.

In this exam if you answered your first question right then the next question will be hard compared to the previous question. As you will move forward and getting right answers it will increase the difficulty level of questions and also you will get marks according to that. Now if you answered wrong then the next question that will appear on your screen will be of easy level and you will get marks according to that. In this way this exam is designed.
Now the NMAT score is accepted by 30+ institutes in India and is conducted by GMAC. There are 5 NMAT windows in 2021 beginning from October 2021 and going up to December 2021. They cover all the NMAT 2021 important dates.
