Hi Murali, please make sure first if the college admissions would be lasting upto the time the MAT May results are announced. Because most of the MAT tier 1 colleges accept CAT and XAT and other entrance exams and thus, the seats may get filled soon in the top college leaving very less or no seats for MAY MAT entrants. If you are going to select MAY slot, please confirm all the colleges that would be available. It is better to pic February or December slots for exam.
hi,
JBIMS to accept only CAT, CMAT & MAH-CET scores
MAT scores are not taken into consideration
JBIMS conducts its admission process on the basis of either CAT, MAH-CET or GMAT scores. Indian students can only apply either through CAT scores or MAH-CET scores. The institute has a defined cutoff basis which the students are streamlined before calling them for the JBIMS selection process.
No your MAT Score and CAT Percentile is insufficient to take admission in NIT Warangal but opportunities are still there You can try for other colleges such as Birla Institute of Management and Technology, IBS, VIT University, Thapar University, Amity University etc.
Hi Shanu,
You secured a good score in MAT and accordingly, you can have a lot of goods comes under your score. ITM is one of them as it has a decent fee structure with a decent average package, which can give you a good return on investment, so you have made a good decision in going for this college.
However, there is much better college than ITM you can go for, which have good placement and infrastructure, industry exposure and faculties, like-
1) BHIMTECH, Greater NOIDA
2) XIME Bengaluru and many more
Although these colleges have high fee structure than ITM, but surely they give you better career opportunity and have more companies visited on their campus for recruitment in marketing.
But anyhow, ITM is no far behind these colleges, it is better in terms of Return on investment which is also one of the most important parameters one can judge on. Many top companies like HUL, Amazon, JIO, Aditya Birla and many more come for recruitment in ITM, so you have still good chances to make your future bright.
At last, you can also apply for the other companies outside the campus drive if your desired company is not coming for recruitment.
Hi Surbhi,
Sorry but IPU affiliated college doesn't accept the MAT score, they have their separate entrance exam which is known as IPU-CET, so one should go for this entrance exam if they are seeking admission in IP university.
MAT score has separate colleges, which are also good as per their Return on investment and average package. It all depends on your MAT score, accordingly you get an invitation to take admission in that particular college, which is best-fit according to your overall MAT score and they can also judge you on different parameters it totally depends on the college to college.
So if you have given MAT and scored good percentile then you can go for the colleges which are accepting MAT score. I hope you can find a good college under MAT also, according to your overall percentile.
