Both. Your composite score is what reflects your marks. You score out of 160 and the composite score is scaled up to 800. So your composite score shows your merit.

The percentile depicts your rank. How many people stand below you with respect to the score you have achieved.

Both are important and would be considered during your selection in a good college.

As considering your composite mark you have got a decent score, but comparatively less. You must check three parameters before joining any institution; the parameters are a) Placement, b) Faculty and c) infrastructure. I can suggest some colleges because my friends and cousins are either studying there or have passed out.

NIT, Warangal - This institute on of the top Government Institute for MBA. Institute has a good placement record. Faculties are well experienced in teaching some of them has industrial experience also. Highest package was 14LPA.

Lovely Professional University - One of my friends is passed out from here in 2016, now he is working with an MNC as a state head of their sales. Their last year placement also good, the highest package was 21 LPA.  Recently Amazon hired few students at a  package of 28 LPA. Fortunately, I have the link so sharing with you. You can read it yourself for a better understanding. LPU has its own test, LPUNEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test) and this may help you to get eligibility and scholarship also if you are scoring well.

School of Management Studies Hyderabad - Institute has an excellent placement record, Faculties are well experienced. Last year highest package was 6 LPA.

 The MAT score will remain valid for 1 year from the date of result declaration. So, if you appear for MAT May 2019, you should be able to apply for the academic batch of 2019-21. However, you need to check the application deadline of the institutes you choose to pursue your studies in. If the application date expires, then it is difficult for you to get admission for the mentioned batch.

Hello Rahul,

Your score is quite low and you won't be getting many colleges under this score. Institutions like Amity or Alliance might take you. But it is always advisable to try and aim for better scores in other exams instead of taking up admission in these colleges.

YES YOU CAN GIVE MAT EXAM FOUR TIMES IN YEAR February, May, September and December. 

Except December MAT, all the MAT 2019 exams will lead for admission to MBA 2019-21 batch.

so if you didnt score good in FEB ,you can write in MAY N score good
