As you would be completing your bba in August 2021 and you would be applying or giving the cat examination in 2021 but you will be admitted in the year 2022 so by any means that's the general method and it won't be considered as a drop year because you are completing your bba in the year 2021. Although it looks like that.
But do not worry for this because it won't affect on your results or interview round.

The cut offs varies as per the college from high to low. For example SIMSREE has a cut off range of atleast 99+ percentile. For Pune University of management the cut off required is atleast 96+ percentile. For great lakes institute of management , Chennai 96+ percentile is a must.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

The final date for CMAT hasn't been released yet however tentatively it is likely that the admit card would be released by February last week and examination will be conducted in second or third week of March. Thus March is the most likely month for conducting CMAT examination.
300 marks is good for admission in different colleges. With 300 marks you will be able to get admission in many recognised MBA colleges such as NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata and ITM Navi Mumbai.
CMAT is a national level mba entrance exam conducted every year for the admission in well known colleges. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes.
