How much questions need to attempt right in mat feb 2019 to get 97- 98 percentile

Aditya Sharma Student Expert 11th Feb, 2019

Hello Akshita

Thanks  for choosing career360.

See I m providing u a formula to calculate the percentile if u are having ur marks with u. So if u want to know how much marks is needed for getting that percentile use that one in reverse.

A simple formula is used to determine the percentile of a candidate-

Formula: Percentile P = ( (N- your rank)/ N) x 100

(Where P stands for percentile and N is the total number of candidates appeared for the exam) (Source: careers360 Team)

After getting getting the marks to be scored calculate the questions according to the marking scheme.

Any query ping me.

Good luck for ur future

does any nit s accept mat result??

Debosmitha Bhattacharyya Student Expert 9th Feb, 2019

Hello Soumadip,

Yes, but only a few of NIT’s accept MAT Score.

Only some NIT’s like NIT Warangal, NIT Silchar take admission through MAT that too for Engineering students only. NIT’s cutoff percentile is very high compared to other B-schools.

A MAT percentile above 93 is considered ideal for admission into NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, and others.

So, different NIT’s have their own criteria for the MBA program because some even consider GMAT, CMAT scores too but all NIT’s accept CAT Score.

Good luck!
