HI,
MAT is the easiest exam to crack as MAT is conducted two times in a year and available in both online and offline mode
These exam entirely depends on your intellect. The difficulty level of the exam is average and you should have scored the required aggregate marks to appear for it.
IPU MBA entrance is also easy as compared to the ssc, other government level exams or any other entrance.
You can refer to good books of MBA Entrance Exam of various publications like Arihant and land yourself with good rank. Adding on to this, another aspect which you need to take care of is keeping yourself updated with current affairs and practice of maths and logical reasoning.
Hope this serves your purpose.

MAT has 5 sections with 40 questions each. A very good score in MAT would be a composite score around 700 marks. So I would recommend you attempt at least 25 questions in every section with a good accuracy to get good percentiles.
MAT doesn't have any sectional cut off. However, it has negative marking in exam. For every wrong answer there will 1/4 of the negative marking. So make sure if you don't perform well in the quants section then you have to get your accuracy level good at the remaining sections. Try to score overall above 600 score at least to get a good college through this exam.
