i got 206 out of 400 in du jat 2019 is this score will be able to fetch me a college

Prince Student Expert 9th Jul, 2019

Hey Akhand,

You just can't predict. Your Entrance marks weightage is 65% and 12th Marks is of 35%. As per I have checked online the merit list of DU JAT will be made available online on 20 July So better wait for it. So With the score not out yet it's hard to tell that you will get a college or not. Also it depends on which course you have applied for.

Best of luck

I have got 95 % in class 12 and given du jat exam recently nicely. What are possible colleges that I can get ??

kashishjuneja2000_8032841 Student Expert 8th Jul, 2019

Hey,

the colleges you can get depends upon your course. If the admission in your course is on merit basis you will definitely het a good college as your percentage in class 12th is really good. DUJAT exam is held for some courses like bba, bms, etc. once the result of this exam is declared you will get to know whether you will get a college or not. Till then you can take admission in any other course of your choice which takes admission on merit basis to be on a safer side. If you’d mention your course i can tell you the colleges that you have chances of getting in.

Please tell the marking scheme for DU jat.

Lalit Solanki Student Expert 5th Jul, 2019
This is the process of marking scheme of DUJAT DU JAT 2019 question paper consists of a total of 400 marks. Each question carries equal marks in the question paper. The candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer. There is 1/3 negative marking in the question paper. Every incorrect answer will lead to the deduction of 1 mark. There is no deduction of marks for un-attempted questions. If a single question is marked twice, it would be considered as a wrong ANSWER. HOPE you understand

Hello Aspirant

As per your query, it would be quite tough to get into Keshav Mahavidyalaya through DU JAT for one getting 60% marks. Hope you find this answer useful. All the best.

In the 2nd allotted list of DU JAT 2019 last SC rank is 325 and My SC Rank is 497.Can I get allotted in BMS/Bba in DU ??

deepeshmalhotra3101_9482575 Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019

Dear aspirant,

You cannot get admission in the du colleges in this round of counselling as you can see the closing rank for SC category in this round is 325. However you can wait for the third round of counselling but with 497 rank it's tough to get a seat for bms/bba in du. Buy let's hope for the best.

GOOD LUCK.

With 91% in-class 12...what should be a decent score in DU JAT to get through the top colleges for BMS

Raashi Kohli 3rd Jul, 2019

Hi, there are certain factors that affect the cutoff of DU JAT 2019:

  • Number of candidates taking the DU JAT 2019 exam
  • Number of candidates who cleared the entrance exam
  • The difficulty level of the DU JAT 2019 question paper
  • Number of seats available in the University

Last year, the cut off rank(general/unreserved category) of BMS for top colleges like Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies and Aryabhatta College were:

  • DDU (BMS): 156-244
  • KMV (BMS): 166-266
  • SSCBS (BMS): 1-155
  • Aryabhatta College (BMS): 279-714

Learning mcq only for general awareness for dujat and Pratham material is enough...Will it help me score ??????pls answer

Nikhil Pareek 3rd Jul, 2019

Hello Arushi,

Yes going for MCQs is really good technique but it might not be sufficient as tou might get stuck to some relevant question at some point and will regret it. The better strategy could be that you go for key points instead of MCQs and then solving MCQs based on those points so that you will get an idea about how a question can be moulded in different ways.

Hope it helped you. :)
