I would love some information about good B-Schools who dont consider CAT sectional cut off... I am hoping to score around 90%ile in CAT.

v neeraja 2nd Dec, 2018
Hi Raktim,

All IIMs look for individual sectional cutoffs. A couple of B schools look for overall CAT percentile. You can consider colleges like

Heyy Vashudha....

It's a three step process as described by MICA.

1. You should have taken at least one of the three exams: CAT/ XAT/GMAT (CAT 2018 / XAT 2019 / GMAT (2017 onwards).

2. All candidates are assessed on MICAT, which consists of 3 sections.

3. All the candidates

Im a nc-obc female expecting 81percentile in cat. My acads 90.17 in 10, 97.3 in 12, 88 in btech. Can I expect an Im or non Im call?

Hi Tejaswini,

You have an excellent academic record. With the advantage of being NC-OBC and a female candidate, I think you have chances of getting calls from IIMs provided you clear their basic cut-offs.

You can expect calls from a few old IIMs and almost all new IIMs. Keep hopes

Hi Ankita,

You have a decent academic profile. Your 12th percentage is a little low which you may have to defend in your questions during the interview.

With 84 percentile in CAT and NC OBC category, you will be able to get calls from good IIMs. You may get calls
