SPJIMR Mumbai announces PGDM Admissions 2017

SPJIMR was established in the year 1981 in Mumbai and is recognized by AICTE. The institute offers PGDM programme and has started admissions for the academic batch of 2017-19.
Programmes: Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for SP Jain admissions are that the candidates should be graduates in any discipline of minimum 3 years duration from a recognized university. Final year students may also apply.
Selection Procedure: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT, XAT, and GMAT scores. The CAT, XAT and GMAT cutoffs are 85 percentile and 650 score respectively. The sectional cutoff for CAT, XAT, and GMAT 85 percentile. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for two phases of interview.

Application Procedure: The candidates have to apply online for the SP Jain PGDM 2017-19 programme admission by visiting the official website. The application fee is Rs. 1200. The fee can be paid by credit card or net banking.

Can you tell me how much percentile required to get into SP Jain, NITIE Mumbai, and XLRI? Is there any chance of mine getting into an IIMs or any other goverment colleges if yes my academic records are X - 60.8% , XII - 63.6% And UG - 72.77% .
Basically to get admission in top IIM'S you will have to get at last 99 percentile or above, still there is no guarantee that you will achieve it.
Yop IIM's follows two different set of rules. One for Initial calling and otehr for Final Selection. For Initial calling they give 35%-40% weightage to your previous credentials and 60 to 65 to CAT score.
For Final calling they give 10% -20% only and remaining is given to GD, PI and CAT score.
For XLRI you will have to XAT. For SP Jain you need 90-92.

I am pursuing my BBA how much percentile i have to score in CAT to get top tier colleges like IIMs or FMS or sp jain? And i am from General category.
Percentile that you should score in CAT exam in order to get top business School depends upon your percentage in bachelor or academic record because for the final admission in the top business school your overall record will be seen so if your percentage in bachelor and your intermediate is good enough then you can consider your good chances of admission with 96 or more percentile, if you don't have good enough record in your academics then you will have to score more than 99 percentile to get into top business school.

Hello, i have a cgpa of 8.2 in 10th, 68% in 12th and 57% in graduation along with 20 weeks of internsips during graduation and i am planning to take GMAT to try and score 700+ in it. Will i then be eligible for SP Jain PGDM programme?
According to your academic scores you need to have an excellent score in either XAT, GMAT or CAT. And to be eligible for admission you need to score at least 650+ in GMAT. And for GMAT, you should score at east 750-760 marks to compensate your previous records and get a call for PGDM further admission process.
And your selection depends on your performance and the deciding committee which cannot be predicted easily, but to be on safer side, score good. For further query ask us, All the best.

sp jain is one of the most renowned college for MBA in India. it takes admission in two ways one profile based and other score based which considers even low academic score. for admissions in mba programs at sp jain i will recommend you to have at least 80-85+ score in academics and if not then score very good percentile in CAT or XAT.
