Management Development Institute (MDI) Releases Admission Notification for PGPM
Management Development Institute (MDI) has released the application for PGPM programme in online mode. The last date to apply for the programme is November 22, 2019. MDI was first setup in 1973 in collaboration with KFW, Germany. Before filling the application form, candidates must follow up with the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. The application fee for MDI Murshidabad and Gurgaon are prescribed differently. MDI Eligibility Criteria 2019
Aspirants must adhere by the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities before filling the application form for MDI Gurgaon and Murshidabad.
Students must have a minimum of 50% in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in class 10th and 12th.
Candidate must have completed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50/5 marks in aggregate. The bachelor’s qualification or equivalent degree must be recognized by Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education for bachelor’s. Furthermore, candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying examination can also apply despite completing all the requirements by June 30, 2020 and submitting the final documents by October 1, 2020.
Participant must be able to furnish score of CAT 2019.
The basis for computing the percentage obtained by the candidate would be based on the practice followed by the university/ institution/board from where the candidate has obtained the degree/ certificate. In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university/institution/board from where they have obtained bachelor’s degree/certificate. In case the university/institution/board does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by MDI M by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying fractions so obtained by 100.
Foreign / OCI/ PIO/ Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries Applicants
On the basis of GMAT score, applicants who are Foreign / OCI/ PIO/ Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries will be considered for admission. GMAT must not be taken before January 1, 2019, and after November 20, 2019. Furthermore, such candidates will have to register for MDI programme at the website of GMAT. Candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of GMAT score will be interviewed by MDIM. As per the guidelines by the Government of India status of the applicant will be applicable.

The application form for MDI PGPM program is now available in online mode. The last date to apply for the PGPM program is November 22, 2019. The application fee for both campuses are different check the table below:

MDI Admission/ Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2019 score and as per the details mentioned in the application form. Students who will be shortlisted will be called for Group discussion followed by the personal interview round at one of the centres of Gurgaon, Kolkata, and Mumbai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai.
Note- Centres of Gurgaon and Kolkata are tentative.
