Karnataka PGCET MBA 2014 held on June 30; Over 12000 candidates took the test
Post Graduate Common Entrance Test for the MBA admission in Karnataka was held on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 11 am to 1 pm. This year, the MBA entrance exam was conducted by Rani Channamma University on behalf of Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Last year, the MBA admission was conducted through AICTE CMAT scores.
This year, the exam received 12,575 registrations for the MBA entrance exam. Last year, the number was 3,600. The registration number has increased to almost four fold.
Karnataka PGCET is a multiple choice objective type test with 100 questions with 1 mark each. There is no negative marking scheme. The paper structure is given in the following table.
Section A- Proficiency in English Language
Section B- Test of General knowledge
Section C- Test of Reasoning and General Intelligence
Section D- Quantitative Analysis
There are approximately 17,000 seats in the Karnataka B-schools whose admission would take place through Karnataka PGCET 2014.

*It totally depends on the number of factors. It generally depends on the number of Candidates are appearing in exams and also depends on the number of candidates originally attended the exam and it also depends on the marks they got on that exam. Previous years cut off and how many students have got marks more than your marks generally called percentile. And with these values, they have a proper formula to calculate the rank of the candidates.
* With 35 marks out of 100 in Karnataka PGCET , you should expect rank around 16000. It is quite difficult to get a rank above 16000 hope that helps you. Again it is only a estimation it may be differ from how many members have applied and so on.
