IIM Ranchi PGP 2014-16 Admission Criteria

IIM Ranchi has announced the Admission Criteria for the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) for the academic year 2014-16. The admission will take place through 3 steps which are shortlisting candidates for the Personal Appearance Round through CAT 2013 scores, WAT & PI and profile of the candidate. The CAT 2013 cut off for this year is 90 percentile.

The candidates will have to appear for the WAT & PI rounds for the final selection round. The weights given to CAT 2013 scores, WAT & PI rounds are as follows:

IIM Ranchi mentions, “PI & WAT scores of the eligible candidates of the six new IIMs will be directly collected from IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode. Only the rest of the candidates need to appear for the Common Personal interview and Written Ability Test of the six new IIMs.”

If the candidates’ Bachelor’s degree is in a non engineering course, he or she will be awarded 2 marks. The female candidates will be awarded 5 marks. There are no marks allotted for engineering and male candidates.
