The B-School has not mentioned whether there would be any change in the number of intakes or not. Careers360 would update as and when there is any official information.
The candidates’ profile also plays a major role in the selection process. According to IIM Calcutta admission criteria of 2014-16, the overall CAT 2013 cut off is 95 percentile or more. The maximum weight is given to the Personal Interview performance followed by CAT 2013 score (35), WAT (10), Work Experience (8) and Gender Diversity (3).
CAT 2013 was conducted by IIM Indore over a 20 day window from October 16 to November 11, 2013. After the declaration of result on January 14, 2014, controversy ensued over the scoring and normalization process. Several CAT 2013 takers obtained skewed scores over 2 sections which led to court cases.

Questions related to IIM Calcutta
my 10th 12th grad sccores are 86,82,57. I am an maths graduate from presidency UNIVERSITY.I am an SC student.I have been preparing for UPSC for last 2 and half years. BUT I cant crack it. SO I want to give CAT this year. HOW much percentile I have to get to get IIM CALCUTTA. please help me
Your marks are quiet good. As you belong to SC category, it will give you an advantage to clear CAT as the cutoff is less for SC/ST category. However for IIM Calcutta, the cutoffs of previous years papers were 70 percentile for SC category. But remember cutoffs do vary every year and depend on the toughness of paper, the no of candidates appearing in it and so on.
All the best.
I am pursuing my engineering. I have scored 89(10th), 70(12th). am I eligible to get admission in iim c or iim l
Only academic scores are not enough to crack IIMs. You have to obtain qualifying percentile in CAT to get admission in IIM C or IIM I . Your academic scores are quite good. In simple terms, IIMs give a certain weightage to each score along with CAT Percentile, WAT, GD, PI, work experience. So there are certain criteria's on which the admission is done. For now, you are eligible but keep in mind to score in other criteria as well.

I scored 91% in 10th, 82% in 12th and I have passed out b.tech graduation with 59% (in 2019). Right now I dont have any work experience and I am planning to write CAT in Nov 2020. Is it possible to get into top MBA colleges with above credentials.
Yes you are eligible for pursuing MBA. The eligibility criteria for MBA is to have graduation degree with minimum 50% score.
Admission to MBA depends on the entrance exam score. Graduation percentage is considered to fulfill eligibility criteria.
is doing BBA in iimc college Hyderabad a good option or not ???
BBA is a three years full time graduation course divided into six semesters.
IIMC College, Hyderabad is a decent college for BBA in terms of Infrastructure, placement and academics. As per the reviews of students, there are lot of facilities provided to students like hostels, computer labs, AC's etc. F aculty is also very good. They provides practical knowledge as well. Placement are also good here many reputed companies come here like Wipro, Deloitte, Infosys etc. With good amount of package. And campus life is also enjoyable.
