IIM Ahmedabad has increased the fee for Post Graduate Programme in Management and Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agri-Business Management 2017-19 batches to Rs. 21 lakh. Last year, the fee was Rs. 19.5 lakh, which has been increased to approximately 7.7 per cent this year. According to IIM Ahmedabad, this fee covers costs of tuition, accommodation, course material, library, placement services, and IT resources.

Last year, IIM Ahmedabad had increased the fee from Rs. 18.5 lakh to Rs. 19.5 lakh. Commenting on the reason for increasing fee, the institute says, “General inflation and Seventh Pay Commission implementation exert an upward push on cost of programme delivery. The Institute is committed to striving for efficiency in its operations.”

IIM Ahmedabad offers financial aid to deserving candidates. “As the most liberal among Indian management institutions by far in financial aid disbursements (in 2016-17, one-third of our

students received financial aid), IIMA is also committed to ensuring that no capable candidate is denied entry for reason of lacking financial wherewithal,” mentions the institute.

The announcement was made during the IIM Ahmedabad Convocation held on March 25, 2017. The number of seats will not be increased this year.

IIM Lucknow also set to increase fee by 15 per cent

IIM Lucknow has also proposed to increase fee by 15 per cent for the PGP batch of 2017-19. At present, the fee is Rs. 14 lakh, which may increase by Rs. 16 lakh. However, the proposal is subject to approval by the board of governors at IIM Lucknow.

Last year, IIM Lucknow had increased the fee from Rs. 10.8 to Rs. 14 lakh. Incidentally, in 2013, IIM Lucknow had reduced the fee to Rs. 10.8 lakh from Rs. 12 lakh and had not increased it till 2015.

Hello

There's no BBA course offered by IIM Ahmedabad. Currently there are only two IIMs that offer BBA+MBA course (IIM Indore & IIM Rohtak)where you can join for the course after cracking IPMAT exam.

I Hope This Helps

t’s wonderful if you want to study at IIM ABCKL, but there are other brilliant institutes at well.  SP Jain is great for marketing.

XLRI has a good BM course and a best-of-the-bunch HR course.

IIFT Delhi and FMS are premier b-schools as well.

NITIE has the best operations course in India.

So you have wide range of options to select the colleges and there will be GDPI sessions which will also play a key role in getting into premium institutes.

Best luck...
