XAT 2016 Application deadline extends; last date to apply December 10
The application date for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, has been extended to December 10 as per the official information provided to Careers360. Earlier the last date to register for the test was November 30, having started from September 4, 2015. However, the reason for the extension of the deadline has not yet been stated by the officials.

With the extension of the application deadline, XAT aspirants now have 10 additional days to register for the test. The application process is completely online and for the first time is common for XAT and XLRI registrations.

Candidates must make sure that they are eligible for the test and later apply for the same.The application form has to be filled online and the application fee can be paid through Cash, Net Banking, Demand Draft, Credit Card or Debit Card. The applicants have to upload passport size color photograph along with the signature. The file size should not exceed 50 KB. The application fee for XAT 2016 is Rs. 1500.
Conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, XAT is one of the biggest national level MBA entrance exam for admissions to XLRI, Xavier Associate Management Institutes and other 141 B-schools across India. XAT 2016 will be conducted on January 3, 2016, across centers in a paper-pen based format. The admit cards will be available from December 20 to 31, 2015 only for the registered candidates to download. The result is expected to be declared in the third week of January, 2016.
Last year in XAT over 90,000 candidates appeared for the test, and it is likely that around one lakh candidates will appear in XAT 2016.

Now, there are various colleges which you can go for using the XAT scores. Taking example of Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, the average placements in 2020 was around Rs. 15.42 Lakh Per Annum. As for the previous year 2019 the average package for XLRI went Rs. 14.31 Lakh Per Annum

I would like to tell you that the average packages of Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, in the current year 2020 went Rs. 24.30 Lakh Per Annum. As for the previous year 2019 the average package for XLRI went Rs. 22.35 Lakh Per Annum.

I have 93% in 10th , 93% in state board; 55%in graduation(math). What percrntile in cat or xat will ensure me a good college ?
It depends, for IIMS you have to score minimum 99 percentile. It is the basic eligibility criteria for iims also they will see your previous marks and then only you are eligible for the further process.
If you want b school than you have to score above 80 or 85 percentile to get admissions in good and reputated institution .
Many college also go for group discussion to eliminate students.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that if you are targetting top colleges accepting XAT score. Then, it is mandatory to clear sectional cutoffs. You need to score well in each section. Moreover, considering past year XAT scores, you should score approximately 26-27.5 score in order to fetch 80-85 percentile in XAT. You can attempt the questions based on accuracy accordingly.
