TISSNET 2016 Result announced on February 2
The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai has announced the result for TISSNET 2016 on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, evening. Candidates who appeared in the computer based test, conducted on January 9, can now check their overall and sectional scores.

In order to check the TISSNET Result, you need to check your email on the date of the result. TISS will send you the link from where you can check your score card. In case you do not receive the email bearing your TISSNET 2016 Result even after a day, you have to contact TISS.
The TISSNET 2016 result/ score-card includes candidates’ sectional and overall score along with the shortlist status. Shortlisted candidates must take a printout of the score card which has to be presented at the time of the next rounds of the selection procedure.
As per the selection procedure, the shortlisted candidates have to appear in the pre-interview and personal interview rounds. The total marks on the basis of which the TISSNET 2016 Result has been declared are 225. While the TISSNET 2016 exam had 100 marks, there will be 50 marks for PIT and 75 marks for PI. On the basis of candidate’s performance and interview scores, candidates will get receive final admission offer.
The Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds will be conducted from March 10 to April 8, 2016. The final result is scheduled to be declared on April 15, 2016.
The exam was conducted on Jan 9 from 2 pm to 3.40 pm in 39 centers. TISSNET was a computer based test which had 100 objective questions to be answered within the duration of 1 hour 40 minutes.

i am in 3 year of bsc nursing and because of covid-19 i dont know when our exams will be conducted my final year will be started from october or november 3 week so can i apply for TISSNET.

According TISSNET guideline you are eligible for take admission but we will discusses briefly for better understanding .
If you willing's to to take TISSNET 2020 then you must have completed the graduation of minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent from a recognized university or final year candidates can also apply for the exam. However, they will be offered final admission only after they clear the final year examination also there is no upper age limit defined by TISS for appearing in the national level exam.

Hey! I am currently studying in 5th semester bachelor degree course. I will be able to complete my bachelor degree in the month of may or june 2021. And i didnt know when result will declare. Can i apply for Tiss net?

TISS NET 2021 Exam date is expected on January 9, 2021 as per past trends. The exam duration is 100 minutes. TISS NET is a computer based National Entrance Test for the all Masters programmes offered by different campuses of Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Minimum eligibility criteria
- You must have completed a bachelor’s degree programme of 3 or 4 years under the bridge course pattern of study where 15 years of formal education has been imparted.
- Candidates who are yet to be awarded a degree also satisfies the TISSNET eligibility criteria, however, the degree is to be produced until a specified date, before the same candidates will be provided with a provisional admission through TISSNET scores .
- Candidates who are appearing for the final examination of qualifying degree programme must not have any backlogs while applying for TISSNET 2021 .
If you have satisfied the above mentioned requirement's then only you will able to take the entrance test .

see you did not mention in which course you want to take admission in tata institute of social science institute. also TISS has 4 campuses, and all the course is not taught in each campuses. there is bachelors degree program, masters courses, phd courses program , as well as online courses available. TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai for admission to various postgraduate courses. TISS offers as many as 53 Master’s Degree programmes at its Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad campuses , chennai campuses.
eligibility criteria is
The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.

Candidates pursuing 3-year bachelor’s degree should have passed all the 4 semesters at the time of filling TISSNET application form, whereas applicants pursuing four-year bachelor's degree must have cleared all the subjects up to sixth semester.
