Question- What is the batch size vis a vis the total number of participating students for the 2017-19 batch?
Answer- For 2017-19, we have 120 students and 114 of them are eligible for placement. Of total 70% of the students are already placed in reputed companies and we will touch about 90-92% by the end of June 2019. Our placement season closes on June 30, 2019.
For 2016-18, there were 120 students and 104 of them were eligible for placement. In total 92% of them were placed, when the placement season ended in June 2018.
Question-What is the total number of Pre Placement Offers for the batch?
Answer- We have not received any pre-placement offers yet. Until last academic year, we were following the University curriculum which had only 4 week internship after the first year. The longer internship was in the final semester. Normally, pre-placement offers are based on an 8-week summer internship where the companies get an opportunity to assess the students.

Question- Any specific trend you observed in this placement season which you would like to share?
Answer- For the first time, we have got some digital marketing roles. This shows that we need to make some value additions to our marketing specialization courses. The overall trend in placement seems to be in favor of marketing and probably the careers will be more aspiring and dynamic in this area.
Banks have started recruiting employees in larger numbers. All banks expect their employees to generate revenue. The roles offered to MBAs are of higher order and goal oriented.
Companies are widening their funnel in terms of campuses contacted and competition is becoming stiffer.

Ive scored 99.011 percentile in TANCET MBA 2020.. I would like to know which college is better in terms of placements for finance elective between TSM and SSN
Both these colleges are head to head and almost same. If you consider their cutoffs also then you cannot find much difference. Last Year the cutoffs of SSN was around 55(score) and for TSM it was around (53.5).
So, it is all upto you but if you consider various aspects then SSN has an upper hand as compared to Thaigrajar School of Management.
