SPJIMR announces PGP-FMB Admission 2017 SPJIMR Mumbai has announced Post Graduate Programme in Family Managed Business (PGP-FMB) commencing from 2017. SPJIMR is a part of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and function as an autonomous Institute offers multidisciplinary courses in the areas of Management. SPJIMR was established in 1981 by the then British Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Margaret Thatcher. The Post Graduate Programme in Family Managed Business (PGP-FMB) is an 18 months programme equivalent to an MBA as recognised by AMBA. Let us take a detailed look at the admission process of S.P. Note: The total fee structure of the programme is Rs. 11.05 lakhs (plus 18% GST), excluding hostel, domestic and international travel and any other incidental expenses. The hostel fee is Rs.50,000 per year (subject to change).

Post Graduate Programme in Family Managed Business (PGP-FMB)

  • Aspirants should have passed an undergraduate programme from a recognised University.

  • Candidate should be a member of a family managed business (at least second generation), with a significant stake in business.

  • Aspirant should have worked in the family business for at least a year prior to applying for the course. (Could have done this alongside pursuing his studies)

  • Candidate must have a business acumen and is willing to learn.

  • Aspirant should have a mentor, who is willing to spend time as per the requirements of the programme.

  • Candidate should have a business of a certain size.

 

Application Fees & Mode of Application:

  • Application can only be made online.

  • Candidates will have to pay the application processing fee either through DD, Net Banking or Credit Card.

  • Aspirants can select a date for the interview process from the pre-determined interview schedule, held in the Mumbai campus.

Selection Process:

Students are admitted into SPJIMR after they undergo a series of steps, which are as follows:

  • Candidates will have to appear for an online general aptitude test.

  • Aspirants will undergo two rounds of interviews with two separate panels comprising of senior faculty.

  • The Programme and Centre Head will review the assessments of the two panels.

  • Aspirants will get the Call/ Rejection letters.
