SP Jain Global School of Management Placement 2017: Average salary increases by 14 per cent

SP Jain Global School of Management Placement 2017SP Jain School of Global Management (SP Jain Global) has conducted the placement process for its flagship Global MBA programme of 2017 batch. The average salary has increased by 14 per cent as compared to last year, which was Rs. 16.52 lakh per annum. This year, the average salary of the batch is Rs. 22.52 lakh per annum. The institute mentions, “The GMBA cohort that graduated in May 2017, recorded a 3-fold jump in starting salaries – from Rs. 7 lakh (pre-MBA) to Rs. 22.52 lakh on completing the programme.”


Consulting, IT and Logistics top recruiting sectors


Top recruiters included Indian multinationals such as Tata Trent and Tech Mahindra along with global organisations (specifically, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East) such as TESCO, Societe Generale, Hewlett Packard, Salesforce, Cummins, Henkel, Xchanging and JDA. Consulting sector, followed by the IT and Logistics sectors were the biggest recruiters this season. According to SP Jain Global, the highest salary offered was Rs. 48 lakh per annum.
