SIBM Bengaluru Final Placement Report 2015 - Highest recruitments in Marketing domain
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru(SIBM) has completed the final placement process for the MBA batch of 2013-15. The total number of students was 169. The batch received 18 Pre Placement Offers in companies like JP Morgan, Dell, Genpact, Fidelity Investments, Capgemini, Puma among others. The highest salary offered was Rs. 15.5 lakh per annum and the average salary offered was Rs. 8.53 lakh per annum.
This year saw several new recruiters as well such as Bharti AXA, Mercedes Benz, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Group, British Telecom, Bisleri, IBM, Honeywell and Airtel. Cisco, Bosch, IBM, Oracle, Crisil, HDFC Group Companies, Tata Motors were some of the regular recruiters. The other top recruiters were Google, Pepsico, Hindustan Unilever, Yes Bank, Perfetti Van Melle, Volvo and McDonald’s among others.
According to SIBM Bengaluru, the offers saw diversity in profiles like Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Social Media Marketing, B2B & B2C Marketing, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Market Research, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Credit Risk Analysis, Logistics, Strategic Sourcing, Consulting, Corporate HR etc.

Financial roles like Investment Banking, Equity Research, Financial Consulting, Credit Analyst, Credit Rating, Corporate Finance and Financial Operations were offered by companies like Dell, CRISIL, Fidelity Investments, Bharti AXA, J.P. Morgan, South Indian Bank etc. This was the third highest recruiting sector.
This was the highest recruiting sector. The key roles offered in this domain were B2B Sales, Key Accounts Management and Marketing & Business Development. Major recruiters in this domain were Cisco, Puma, MTR Foods, Fidelity Investments, Zomato, HDFC Life, Tata Motors, Accenture, Groupon etc.
This was the second highest recruiting sector. Companies like Accenture, Aspect Ratio, Genpact, HP, Infosys, Mahindra Logistics, Manipal Group, Capgemeni, Fidelity Investments, Wipro and Syntel offered Analytics, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and Consultancy roles in different domains like Supply Chain, Quality Excellence, and Strategy.
In this domain, the main roles which were offered included HR Analyst, Corporate HR, Consulting and Human Capital Advisory for students with HR specialization. The top recruiters were Bharti AXA, Infosys, L&T, Manipal Group and Genpact. This was the lowest recruiting sector.
Sector wise Placement
IT/ITeS was the highest recruiting sector followed by Consulting. The other top recruiting sectors were Logistics, BFSII, Automobile and others.

Hi,Both the institutes you mentioned are good to pursue studies, both of these institutes have good teaching faculty, placements records and infrastructure. But SIBM has better response for MBA. They have more placement records than XIME and student's rating of SIBM is also far better than XIME.
