SCMHRD Pune Placement Report 2015-17SCMHRD Pune Placement Report 2015-17 - Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Pune has completed its final placement process for 2015-17 batch. The institute observed an unprecedented increase in PPOs (Pre-Placement Offers) along with a significant increase in the average compensation this year. The institute also had many first time recruiters this year. A total of 220 students participated in the placements and there were 95 companies to hire them at SCMHRD campus.

Sales was the highest recruiting domain and Banking, Finacial Services and Insurance (BFSI) was the highest recruiting sector. Students received job offers from diverse sectors including Telecom, Infrastructure, E-Commerce, BFSI, Consulting, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing etc. Companies like Amazon, PepsiCo, Hero MotoCorp, Lava International, Kraft Heinz, Kotal Life Insurance and many others took part in the placement process.

BFSI sector was on top in terms of offering jobs with 22% followed by the FMCG/FMCD and IT/ITES sector with 20%. The Manufacturing sector was fourth in the line with 18% offers while Consulting and Conglomerate stood next to it with 7% and 4% respectively. E-Commerce and Telecom sector contributed 2% offers to the placement process.
