Questions related to NIT Calicut
I have got a seat in NIT+SYSTEM institute in JOSAA rounds and also i have joined the alloted institute 2020.Do I need to surrender the alloted seat for participating in CSAB ROUNDS 2020?
First of all congratulations on getting alloted a seat in josaa. Now, if you want to participate in csab special round counseling, then there is no need of surrendering your seat or withdrawing your seat.
Csab special round is also conducted by central seat allocation board, is for filling of vacant seats in all nits, iiits, or gftis and iiest.
Now, for participating in csab special round counselling, you must have to pay a fees of Rs.36500 ( general/obc) or Rs. 16500 ( sc/ st/pwd).
Now for csab special round counselling for nits, iiits, gftis, one must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria for participating in csab special round counseling :-
- You must have given JEE Mains by securing a valid rank
- If you are are not allotted any seat in JoSAA or didn't participated in JoSAA counselling can participate in CSAB special round for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs 2020
- If you have been allotted any seat in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs through JoSAA and retaining your JoSAA seat, then also you can participate in csab special round counseling.
Now, as per your query i can assume that you have paid the seat acceptance fees in josaa. Now, if you got alloted any seat in csab, and you accept it then your josaa seat will automatically be canceled. And also note that your don't have to pay the seat acceptance fees once again.
So, yes you can participate in csab special round counseling without giving up your josaa seat.

pls give me the placement comparison of nit Calicut and iiit Hyderabad, iam from karnataka
See, IIIT Hyderabad and NIT Calicut the both are the top and renowned institution in the whole India. But according to my assumption, IIIT Hyderabad is slightly better than NIT Calicut in case of its magnificent placement wing.
Basically both the institutions have amazing placement record in last few years and the most important thing is many genuinely eminent and highly-esteemed companies come to both college campuses as mass recruiters. Ok I'm providing the placement details of both the instituions very shortly in this regard:
According to the previous year's placement details, the highest in-campus package in this institution was of 48 lakhs per annum as well as their average package was 21 lpa . The average placement percentages of all the departments of this institution are quite impressive providing around 95-100% jobs offered by both multinational companies and startups and various top roles like data scientists, administrator, designer, tester, analyser, developer, technician, supporter etc are also offered to the candidates there.
Mass recruiters: Amazon, Google , Accenture, DELL, Flipkart, Microsoft, AMD, Nvidia, Apple, Facebook, JIO, Samsung, C-DOT, Mathworks etc.
You can use the following websites to get the detailed-oriented description regarding the campus-placement of IIIT Hyderabad:
Mass recruiters: Amazon, Microsoft, Ford, Larsen and Toubro, Pepsico, Wipro, Tata Steel, Bajaj, Tata consultancy services, Infosys, Cognizant, Sony, Nokia, Essar etc
Now coming to the main point, the highest salary offered in NIT Calicut is INR 39 lakhs till now and the average salary is 8-9 lakh . And also the average placement percentages in all the departments of this college is almost 85-90% (this information is based on the report of last few years) which is undoubtedly less than IIIT Hyderabad.

my jee paper 2(b.arch) crl 1966 and obc 577 ranks respectively.so far 4 rounds over i was not alloted any seats in josaa.my preferred choices are NITT,SPAV,NITC.my home state is Tamil Nadu.suppose if no seats were alloted to me in josaa,do i have chance of getting confirm seat in CSAB??
With this much obc rank in jee mains paper 2, there is still a chance that you can get nit trichy, as you belong from hume state quota. Also you can hope to get other nits like nit calicut till last round counselling, but the chances will be hard as you are from other state quota.
But till last round also your can get spa Vijayawada.
Now suppose your didn't got any seat in josaa round counseling this year. Then there is a sure chance that your can get tire preferred college in csab special round counseling, as per seeing the last year cutoff trends.
As you have secured 1966 CRL rank in obc category then definitely you can get nit calicut ( last year the highest cutoff rank for other state obc category for b.arch on the basis of their crl rank was - 4791)
Also you can get nit trichy for sure in csab special round counselling ( last year the highest cutoff rank for home state obc category for b.arch on the basis of their crl rank was - 3691 in csab special round 1 ).
And as for spa Vijayawada, then there is a chance that you can get till last round counseling, as per seeing the rate of increment of cutoff this year.

I got 11,216 category(SC) ranking in jee main and I applied for NIT surathkal, NIT warangal,NIT Goa,NIT Andra Pradesh,VNIT Nagpur and NIT Calicut for all stream of courses except metallurgical and chemical engineering so may I know that can I get any one of this college through josaa counseling?
We cannot give proper analysis as you haven't mentioned your crl rank. But you can use our college predictor for more details as the college predictors are more than 90% accurate. But according to your category rank, you have better chances only in your home states.
You can use our college predictor and predict the college you can apply to using the link below
I suggest you to go through the previous years cut off ranks through the given link
Feel free to reach out to Careers360 in case you have doubts regarding your career
i got 1856 rank at jeemainspaper 2 at obc ncl category can i get seat nit calicut in csab 2020
If 1856 is your obc category rank in jee paper 2 then it is quite impossible for you to get any seat in b.arch in nit calicut in josaa counselling even if you belong from home state quota. And as you have secured 1856 obc ncl rank, then your CRL rank must be around more than 5000.
Even in Csab counselling ( as per seeing the last year cut off trends) there is no chance for you to get nit calicut.
Last year for csab round 1 counselling the cut of closing ranks for architecture courses in your preferred nits for obc candidates on the basis of CRL ranks was :-
NIT CALICUT :-
Home state - 2506
Other state - 2868
And Last year for csab round 2 counselling the cut off closing ranks for architecture courses in nit calicut for obc candidates on the basis of CRL ranks was :-
Other state - 4791 ( for home state, seats were full )
So, as you can see even in csab round you have no chance of getting architecture branch in nit calicut.
