This Academy, known as NIA was established in the year 1980 under the aegis of Ministry of Finance (Government of India), LIC, GIC of India and Public Sector Insurance Companies as its promoters. The admission process for the academic batch of 2017 has started.
Programs Offered: Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
Program Fees: Rs. 9,68,000/- for the entire programme including lodging as well as boarding
Application Fees & Mode: The application forms can be filled online. The fee to be paid by the applicants online is Rs. 1200.
At least 50% in Graduation for General and 45% for SC/ST/DA category
Upper age limit is 28 years for General / OBC-NC and 30 years for SC/ST/DA candidates as on 1st July 2017.

How is NIA Pune and what CMAT percentile does it accept?
NIA PUNE is a good college but it will narrow your opportunity range since this college main focus is on insurance sector so if you you want to pursue a career in insurance sector than you should go for it, Placement and faculty of this college is good, CMAT percentile previous year in this college for general category was 85 percentile relaxation of percentile is there for other categories depending upon the reservation.

Which is better NIA pune or BIMTECH greater noida when it comes to placement???
Both the colleges are really good colleges.
For NIA pune:
Tution fees is 12.5 lacs. (100% placements)
Average placements are 8.4 lacs
Highest placements are 12.1 lacs
Tution fees: 12 lacs (100% placements)
Average placements: 7.5 Lacs
Highest placements: 16 Lacs
Lowest placements: 5 Lacs
(Chose only if you've interest in IT or Insurance Management. Only these job profiles are offered at the time of placements. Whereas for other specialization chose Bimtech)

Cutoff for IISWBM was 70 percentile. You have reservation so you might get an admission there. Give a try. Nia Pune Cutoff for CMAT is 75 percentile. Using Categorical reservation you can get an admission.
Give a try to it. Surely you will get IISWBM as your score is near to the cutoff for general category.
