The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State has started the application process for MAH CET from January 21, 2017. The application window will open till February 13, 2017 for the eligible candidates to register for the test. MAH CET will be conducted on March 4 and 5, 2017 in an online mode.

Besides starting the application process, the officials have also released the admit card and result dates. The admit card will be available from February 23 onwards and the results will be declared on March 10, 2017.

According to the eligibility criteria, candidates registering for the test must be a graduate from a recognised university with minimum 50 percent marks (45 percent for reserved category).


The MAH CET 2017 application form filling process is completely online. They first need to register with a valid e-mail id and generate a password. After the registration, candidates need to re-login and fill all the mandatory information in the form and pay the fee.

The application fee for MAH CET 2017 is to be paid either through net banking or by a debit/credit card. The fee details are,

It has been clearly stated by the officials, that no MAH CET application form and fee will be accepted by post/courier or any other mode besides online. The same will be rejected.

Only those candidates who submitted the complete application form along with the fee will be able to download the MAH CET Admit Card 2017 from February 23, 2017 onwards.

According to the exam pattern of MAH CET 2017 is a 150 minute objective type online test, which will be conducted on March 4 and 5, across centres.  After the test, MAH CET results will be declared on March 10, 2017 at 5 pm. Only those candidates, who have their results as per the cutoff/merit, will be allowed to appear in the counselling rounds.

see for admission in any nits, you need to apply in jee main exam, which is the only gate way exam for admission in btech course in nits.

however maha cet exam is applicable for admission in maharastra state government and private colleges for engineering and agriculture and pharmacy related course.

hope you may understand.


I have made big mistake in mht cet for by filling my institution (college) name wrong , so I have to change it , if not changeable then it matters in engg. college ?

The correction window for MAHA CET 2020 will be opened tentatively during the first week of April 2020 and then you can make the changes. The date is not quite certain but yes, you can make changes to your application during the correction window. Please keep an eye on the official website for more information.


maharashtra common entrance test 5 year fee for B.A LLB

MH CET Law is a National Level Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra that serves as a gateway for admissions to top institutes to pursue Law in Maharashtra.

Candidates will have to register and fill out the application form of MH CET and submit it  before March 2, 2020 (for 5 year course)  and  May 6, 2020 (for 3 year course)  .

The application fee for CET is to be paid via online mode. Bank Transaction Charges for online payment of fee will have to be borne by the applicants. The charges for the application ranges from INR 800 - INR 400 based on the categories to which the candidates belong to.

There are various colleges that accept MH CET scores for admission to their institutes. Here are a few of them with their fees:
1.Symbiosis Law School Pune - INR 15.6 L

2.Maharashtra National Law University - INR 10 L

3.Symbiosis Law School Nagpur- INR 15.95 L

4. Amity Univrsity Mumbai - INR 9.3 L

maharashtra common entrance test fees structure

The fee for Maharashtra Common Test for 2020 is Rs. 800 with bank charges for open candidates and Rs. 600 with bank fee for reserved category. The candidates are suggested to keep a printout of the application to make it easy in future.
