KMAT 2016 application starts from April 5; exam on May 29
The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) has announced the KMAT 2016 exam for the MBA/PGDM admission to more than 150 private B-schools in Karnataka. The application procedure for the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) will start from Tuesday, April 6, 2016 and the exam is scheduled on Sunday, May 29, 2016.
There are more than 10,000 seats offered by over 150 participating institutes of KMAT 2016. The notification of KMAT 2016 brings to you the details of the eligibility criteria, application procedure, exam pattern and important dates.

Eligibility: The aspirants of KMAT 2016 should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any stream from a recognized institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for the General category candidates and 45% for the SC/ST candidates. Final year graduation students can also apply.
Application Procedure: The application procedure is a completely online procedure starting from April 5. After visiting the official website, aspirants have to click on the tab ‘Apply Now’ and follow the instructions. The application fee can be paid either through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking modes.
Exam Pattern: KMAT 2016 is a paper pencil based test of 2 hours duration, scheduled from 10 AM to 12 noon. The exam is divided into 4 sections, Verbal and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. The total number of multiple choice objective type questions is 120. Each question carries 4 marks and there is no negative marking scheme. Test takers can move to and fro from among the sections. Selection Procedure: After the declaration of the result, the candidates will be shortlisted by the participating institutes on the basis of their cutoffs. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the GD-PI rounds.

the last date to fill out the application form for KMAT 2020 was on the 19th October 2020. So unfortunately it might be a late to apply for this year, however you can apply for the KMAT 2021 when the application form is released again.

When does KMAT 2021 Exam take place for MBA Admissions 2021-23 in Kerala ?

CAT and CMAT entrance exams are national level entrance exams to get admission in Management courses in postgraduate level. The participating institutes of CAT are 20 IIMs, IITs, JBIMS, MDI, SPJIMR, IMI, FMS and more than 500 colleges accept CAT score across the country. CMAT score is accepted by all the institutes which are AICTE-Approved. Admission process, cut off will be different for each entrance exam. And KMAT is a state level entrance exam for admission to MBA and PGDM in colleges of Karnataka. Depending on your preferences of course, institute, financial assistance you can opt any of the entrance exam. CAT is not necessary to appear in CMAT, KMAT etc.
