JBIMS Summer Placement 2016: average stipend increases by 11%
The Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) completed its summer placement process for the Masters in Management Studies (MMS) batch 2016-18. BFSI and IB emerged as the top recruiting domains. With an increase in highest stipend, the average stipend also increased by 11% this year. Out of the 68 companies that registered for the process, 64 companies participated in the summer placements.
The highest stipend offered at the Institute is Rs. 3.50 lakh for two months, and the average stipend is Rs. 1.52 lakh. The top 10% of the batch took home Rs. 2.90 lakh whereas the top 50% was offered Rs. 1.8 lakh on an average.
Consulting firms like McKinsey & Co. and Accenture Strategy continued to be the top recruiters in the domain. BFSI and IB recruited one-third of the batch with roles in verticals such as Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Equity Research, Securities, Transaction Banking and Retail Banking. The recruiters included Goldman Sachs, Standard Chartered, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citibank, HSBC, DBS Bank, JPMorgan Chase & Co., ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank, Axis Securities, Aviva, MetLife, HDFC PV, SBI Card and RBL Bank to name a few.
FMCG giants such as HUL, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, Marico, Danone etc. continued to offer roles in Sales & Marketing, Corporate Finance and Product Management. A rise in the number of conglomerates and manufacturing companies visiting the campus led to a two-fold increase in the number of offers being extended to the students. Companies such as JSW, Vodafone, TATA Motors, Sun Pharmaceuticals, Medtronic, Abbott, Schlumberger, Tata Consultancy Services, Arvind Brands, Piramal Enterprises, L&T, Red Bull, Amway and Capgemini offered diverse roles in Strategy, General Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail Research, Procurement Management and Technology.

JBIMS shortlists candidates based on their profile and CAT / MH-CET scores (GMAT for international candidates). Shortlisted candidates are called for the second round, the in-person assessment (IPA). This round consists of group activity, personal interview and a written ability test

No you cannot get into JBIMS and SIMSREE with the marks scored in MAT exam. You can get into following college:

Is JBIMS accepting ATMA score this year? If yes, then how much percentile is required?
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS)is one of the oldest and best b-schools in India and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. There are many programs offered by JBIMS. Yes, JBIMS accept ATMA score only if you have given CET exams. The college will accept both ATMA Feb and May scores. The cut off for general category for ATMA is 99.99 percentile.
Other exam score which is accepted by JBIMS is: CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, CET
What is the procedure to take admission in PhD?
step1:- look for suitable college option as per your interest.
step2:- apply when application form is open.
step3:- after getting short listed, go through the further selection process as per college selection guideline.
some college have screening test for admission into PhD. Admission to PhD is done on the basis of score in Masters i.e.PG degree. if you hold good score and done from a recognized college then there is high probability to get an admission. There might be some relaxation for reservation category. Do check it and apply accordingly.

Hi I am planning to seek an admission in jbims for MHRDM. I just saw that the last day of online admission process was yesterday. Can anyone help me with my queries that how can i now get the admissions here?
JBIMS offers MHRDM course as part time masters program. The entrance exam was going to held on 21st June, but later they postponed it and extended the online application till 26th June and now the written examination will be held on 28th June. So there is no other way to apply for program.
