JBIMS Summer Placement 2015-17: 23% batch recruited by BFSI sector
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) conducted summer placement process for its 51st batch of Master in Management Studies (MMS) programme. A total of 68 companies participated in the process and made 123 offers across divisions. BFSI emerged as most preferred sector with 23% of the batch accepting internship roles in this domain.
Consulting firms like McKinsey & Co., The Boston Consulting Group and Accenture Strategy participated in the summer placement process offering roles across functions. JBIMS witnessed Investment Banking roles being offered by Barclays Capital, Goldman Sachs and Avendus Capital among others.
Recruiters like Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank, HSBC, DBS, J.P. Morgan Chase, ICICI Bank, Axis Securities, CRISIL, MetLife offered roles such as Treasury & Trade Services, Global Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Equity Research, Securities, Strategic Business Development, Transaction Banking and Retail Banking.
FMCG companies as HUL, P&G, ITC, Danone, Marico and Nivea offered attractive roles in Branding, Sales & Marketing, Corporate Finance, Product Management and Digital Marketing registering a 33% increase compared to previous year.
Several other recruiters such as Google, General Electric, Mahindra, Snapdeal, Vodafone, Whirlpool, TATA Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Reliance Communication, Abbott, Schlumberger, Maersk Line, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Arvind Brands, Piramal Enterprises, Merck Pharma, L&T, IBM offered diverse roles in Strategy, General Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail Research, Procurement Management and Technology.

The highest stipend offered at the institute is INR 4.5 lakh and the average stipend increased to INR 1.37 lakh from INR 1.17 lakh. Out of the 72 companies that had registered for the process, 68 companies participated in the internship recruitment process.

JBIMS shortlists candidates based on their profile and CAT / MH-CET scores (GMAT for international candidates). Shortlisted candidates are called for the second round, the in-person assessment (IPA). This round consists of group activity, personal interview and a written ability test

No you cannot get into JBIMS and SIMSREE with the marks scored in MAT exam. You can get into following college:

Is JBIMS accepting ATMA score this year? If yes, then how much percentile is required?
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS)is one of the oldest and best b-schools in India and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. There are many programs offered by JBIMS. Yes, JBIMS accept ATMA score only if you have given CET exams. The college will accept both ATMA Feb and May scores. The cut off for general category for ATMA is 99.99 percentile.
Other exam score which is accepted by JBIMS is: CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, CET
What is the procedure to take admission in PhD?
step1:- look for suitable college option as per your interest.
step2:- apply when application form is open.
step3:- after getting short listed, go through the further selection process as per college selection guideline.
some college have screening test for admission into PhD. Admission to PhD is done on the basis of score in Masters i.e.PG degree. if you hold good score and done from a recognized college then there is high probability to get an admission. There might be some relaxation for reservation category. Do check it and apply accordingly.

Hi I am planning to seek an admission in jbims for MHRDM. I just saw that the last day of online admission process was yesterday. Can anyone help me with my queries that how can i now get the admissions here?
JBIMS offers MHRDM course as part time masters program. The entrance exam was going to held on 21st June, but later they postponed it and extended the online application till 26th June and now the written examination will be held on 28th June. So there is no other way to apply for program.
