JBIMS Mumbai Summer Placement Report 2013-15
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai has completed the Summer Placement process for the academic year 2013-15. According to JBIMS Mumbai, the summer placement process was concluded with 100% placement in record time.

Sector wise Placement
As you can see, BFSI & IB was the highest recruiting sector (32%) followed by FMCG & Pharma (23%), Conglomerates (19%), others (16%) and Consulting & IT (10%).

BFSI & IB
This is the highest recruiting sector which saw companies such as Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, J P Morgan Chase, ICICI Bank, Nomura, CRISIL, Development Credit Bank, HDFC Property Ventures, ICICI Prudential AMC, Metlife, Tata Capital, CIMB Securities, Finstream etc. select students for the summer placement. Roles like investment banking, equity research, transaction banking, retail banking etc were on offer for the students.
FMCG & Pharma
FMCG majors such as Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive, ITC, Dabur, HCCB, General Mills, etc were the regular recruiters at JBIMS. The new recruiters included corporates such as Marico, Nivea, Kellogg’s etc., which resulted in a large percentage of the batch being offered diverse and attractive roles in the FMCG sector. In addition to the traditional sales and marketing roles, fresh profiles like operations and corporate finance were also offered.
According to JBIMS, the Pharmaceutical and allied industry also made its presence felt in a big way with industry majors like GSK Pharmaceuticals, Abbott, DSM, Sanofi, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Boehringer Ingelheim visiting the campus and recruiting a good number of candidates.
Manufacturing, Conglomerates & Real Estate
Diverse profiles across multiple domains were offered by leading business conglomerates such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Raymond, Larsen and Toubro, Godrej and Boyce as a part of the summer internship program. Varied profiles such as FMP, General Management, SCM, Reverse SCM, Logistics and EPC were offered to the students. The real estate, chemical and manufacturing domain saw the participation of industry majors such as Schlumberger, Cummins, AkzoNobel, Jaipur Rugs etc.
Consulting & IT
Consulting roles were offered by reputed companies like Jones Lang LaSalle, Tata Consultancy Services, Capegemini, Fidelity Management Research, Wipro etc. Real estate consulting and HR consulting were some of the niche profiles offered in this domain.
Media & Telecom
Varied profiles were offered to the students in these sectors. The top recruiting companies were Vodafone, DraftFCB Ulka, Brand Care, Channel Play etc.
Along with the above companies, the other participating companies from diverse sectors were Flipkart, Ginger Hotels, Mattel Toys, Syngenta, People’s Group, etc.

what is admission criteria for JBIMS Mumbai for 2021?
The applicants with a 3-year graduate degree or any equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for part-time MBA programmes. Those with valid ranks in CAT, MAT (https://www.shiksha.com/mba/mat-exam) , GMAT, XAT, CMAT (https://www.shiksha.com/mba/cmat-exam) and ATMA (https://www.shiksha.com/mba/atma-exam) have an added advantage. PhD aspirants must possess a postgraduate degree with a specialisation in any one area of business and management. Seat allotment is however done based on the eligibility norms and regulations prescribed by Mumbai University.
Those interested in admission at JBIMS must register themselves by filling an application form available on the institute's official website. The candidates who have submitted the application form by the last submission date notified by the institute are considered for the admission. The shortlisted recipients will then be called for a group discussion followed by a personal interview, where the personality, communication, analytical skills and leadership qualities of the recipients are analysed.

JBIMS shortlists candidates based on their profile and CAT / MH-CET scores (GMAT for international candidates). Shortlisted candidates are called for the second round, the in-person assessment (IPA). This round consists of group activity, personal interview and a written ability test

No you cannot get into JBIMS and SIMSREE with the marks scored in MAT exam. You can get into following college:

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS)is one of the oldest and best b-schools in India and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. There are many programs offered by JBIMS. Yes, JBIMS accept ATMA score only if you have given CET exams. The college will accept both ATMA Feb and May scores. The cut off for general category for ATMA is 99.99 percentile.

What is the procedure to take admission in PhD?
step1:- look for suitable college option as per your interest.
step2:- apply when application form is open.

some college have screening test for admission into PhD. Admission to PhD is done on the basis of score in Masters i.e.PG degree. if you hold good score and done from a recognized college then there is high probability to get an admission. There might be some relaxation for reservation category. Do check it and apply accordingly.
