Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai conducted its summer placements for the batch of 2016 at its campus.
Consulting firms like McKinsey & Co. and The Boston Consulting Group were also part of the summer placement process. Companies across divisions like HR, Banking and Financial services, Manufacturing, Consulting and others visited the campus for the process. The batch of 2016 has a mix of students from diverse fields and backgrounds like Science, Commerce, management etc.

In the Consulting domain companies like McKinsey & Co., BCG, JLL, DTZ and others visited the campus. The companies offered the Junior Associate profile to the students.
BANKING AND FINANCIAL SECTOR
In the Banking and Financial Sector, companies such as Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, ICICI Bank, ING Vysya, Tata Capital, Indiabulls, Met Life, UV Capital, BMR Advisors, HDFC Property Venture etc. visited JBIMS to recruit students for various roles. Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan made their presence felt by offering some of the most coveted roles in the industry. The profiles offered were investment banking, equity research, transaction banking, retail banking, and strategic business development to name a few.
FMCGs & PHARMACEUTICALS
FMCG majors such as Hindustan Unilever Ltd.Â¸ Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive, Marico, HCCB, Danone etc. A large percentage of the students were offered attractive roles in sales and marketing in the FMCG sector. The Pharmaceutical industry majors like Abbott, BMS, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Janssen Pharmaceuticals and DSM visited the campus and recruited a substantial number of candidates. They offered flexible profiles like market research and data analysis, in addition to the existing sales and marketing profiles. Corporate Finance roles were offered.

MANUFACTURING SECTOR & CONGLOMERATES
Diverse profiles across multiple domains such as real estate, chemical and manufacturing were offered by leading business conglomerates such as Mahindra & Mahindra, Godrej & Boyce, Schlumberger, Tata Steel, Raymond, AkzoNobel, Maersk Shipping, Larsen & Toubro, Coldwell Banker, Mattel Toys etc. as a part of the summer placement process. Students had the opportunity to choose from varied profiles such as ERP, Business Process Consulting, General Management, and Strategy. Tolaram Group offered Sales & Marketing roles based out of Nigeria.
An ideal opportunity was offered to the students to kick-start their careers in the online retail and telecom sector. The increasing recognition and impact of the students of JBIMS in the industry was exemplified by the presence of companies like Vodafone, Whirlpool, Flipkart, Reliance Communications, DraftFCBUlka, Brandcare etc. Also, this time, numerous roles in the IT sector were offered by reputed companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Nucleus Software etc.

what is admission criteria for JBIMS Mumbai for 2021?
The applicants with a 3-year graduate degree or any equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for part-time MBA programmes. Those with valid ranks in CAT, MAT (https://www.shiksha.com/mba/mat-exam) , GMAT, XAT, CMAT (https://www.shiksha.com/mba/cmat-exam) and ATMA (https://www.shiksha.com/mba/atma-exam) have an added advantage. PhD aspirants must possess a postgraduate degree with a specialisation in any one area of business and management. Seat allotment is however done based on the eligibility norms and regulations prescribed by Mumbai University.
Those interested in admission at JBIMS must register themselves by filling an application form available on the institute's official website. The candidates who have submitted the application form by the last submission date notified by the institute are considered for the admission. The shortlisted recipients will then be called for a group discussion followed by a personal interview, where the personality, communication, analytical skills and leadership qualities of the recipients are analysed.

JBIMS shortlists candidates based on their profile and CAT / MH-CET scores (GMAT for international candidates). Shortlisted candidates are called for the second round, the in-person assessment (IPA). This round consists of group activity, personal interview and a written ability test

No you cannot get into JBIMS and SIMSREE with the marks scored in MAT exam. You can get into following college:

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS)is one of the oldest and best b-schools in India and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. There are many programs offered by JBIMS. Yes, JBIMS accept ATMA score only if you have given CET exams. The college will accept both ATMA Feb and May scores. The cut off for general category for ATMA is 99.99 percentile.

step1:- look for suitable college option as per your interest.
step2:- apply when application form is open.

Admission to PhD is done on the basis of score in Masters i.e.PG degree. if you hold good score and done from a recognized college then there is high probability to get an admission. There might be some relaxation for reservation category. Do check it and apply accordingly.
