Best books for IPMAT.......???

Sourandhi Saha Student Expert 10th Dec, 2019
One of the best books to prepare for IPMAT is  Crack the IIM Indore IPM Entrance Exam, published by Pearson and written by IIM Lucknow Alumnus Nishit Sinha. Apart from this, solve NCERTs maths book class 11 ans 12. For verbal ability, RS Aggarwal's verbal ability book is good. Read newspapers thoroughly to stay updates about current affairs. Solve previous years' question papers, give mock tests if possible.

Is it necessary to take coaching for preparation of IPMAT.. If yes which is best online coaching classes..???

Yashu Shrivastava 9th Dec, 2019

Hello

It totally depends on you  whether you want to join classes for IPMAT or you can crack it by yourself.

There are two conditions-

1.You can study by yourself, buy books that helps you to crack IPMAT and half of the things in IPMAT is from the syllabus that we studied in our schools. If your concept is clear you can do it by yourself.

2.Second condition is that if you join coaching classes, that will help you to guide to how to crack IPM and also they will make you well prepared by giving Mocks(That is the plus point to join coaching). Also they will make you well prepared for the GD/PI.

I would suggest you to join coaching classes for better result.

I Hope This Helps

Good Luck!

Is it compulsory to have math in optional or in main subject in class 12...For IPMAT Bcz Im from Arts stream.

Harshita Gupta 9th Dec, 2019

Hey,

It is not compulsory to have maths as a subject for IPMAT. For eligibility, you need to have 60% score in SSC and HSC examination or equivalent examination.

So, you are eligible even if you are from Arts stream. Also, you must have completed your qualifying examination in 2018, 2019 or 2020 for being eligible in 2020 exam.

Hope this helps!
