IIM Trichy Summer Placement Report 2016-18: Average stipend increases by four per cent
IIM Trichy has completed the Summer Placement for PGPM 2016-18 batch with 56 per cent increase in the highest domestic stipend offered. The average stipend offered is Rs. 53,030 and the highest domestic offer was Rs. 2.50 lakhs. The average stipend has increased by four per cent. As many as 70 companies participated in the process and offered various roles to 159 students.
According to Prof. Abhishek Totawar, Chairperson-Placements, IIM Trichy, the average of the top 10 per cent offers for the domains like Sales & Marketing, General Management & Finance witnessed a growth in the range of 20 to 25 per cent compared to the previous year. The median stipend offered to the top 10 percentile of the batch was Rs. 1.31 lakhs and that offered to the top 25 percentile of the batch was Rs. 1 lakh.
