Hey there

Your academic marks are good and thus you'll have better chances of getting call from IIM Kashipur but getting admissions into iims not only depends on academic marks but it depends largely on your cat cat percentile and also the interview. So if you'll get good percentile in cat you'll surely get into iim Kashipur.

Good luck

What are my chances of getting into top IIMs or the new IIMs. I have 97% in Xth, 93% in XIIth and 59% in UG. Is my UG percent a reason for concern? Except A,B what all IIMs do I have a chance at?

Miles Education 21st Nov, 2019

Getting into IIMs has always been competitive however that has been the case for the general PG course which is based on CAT scores and subsequent WAT and PI. However in recent times IIMs have realized that specialization is the need of the hour. This is result of diverse adoption of technology expertise across industries which has led to tech knowledge becoming the primary driver of performance. What this has led the IIMs to do is partner up with academic partners to develop specialized courses specific to industries. For example, the IIM analytics courses  (https://mileseducation.com/analytics/home) by IIM Lucknow are developed together with Wiley innovation council and IIM faculty. Further these courses are customized for business leaders who have the IIM business and data analytics course (https://mileseducation.com/analytics/IIM-Lucknow) while there is another custom Analytics course for finance and accounting professionals (https://mileseducation.com/finance/IIM-Lucknow-Analytics) . Since these courses are exclusively designed for an industry, the enrollments do not see the generic competition based on CAT scores. You can check your eligibility (https://mileseducation.com/analytics/home) and apply for enrollment.

Interestingly these courses give you the IIM Lucknow alumni status as well.

All the best.

I got 76% in 10 and 72 %in 12th and 60 % in b.com .If I get 85%til in CAT then I can get admission in IIM kashipur I belong with obc (jat)

Hello student,

For securing seat in IIM, not just your percentile in CAT but also your score in graduation, class 10 and class 12 are taken into consideration. Since you have scored very less in CAT and also your percentage in the rest of the academics are low, there are no chances of securing a seat in IIM Kashipur.

Good luck

how much iv to scored in cat to get admission in iim kashipur

Ratula 7th Jul, 2018

Hello Rahul,

If you are a General Engineering Male, with academic results not above 90% in boards and with no work experience, you should target a percentile in the range of 97-98. This is a ballpark figure, and changes every year subject to considerations like competition/level of difficulty of paper/etc.
