Marketing and Consulting were the most sought after domains in this year, continuing the trend of past year. E-Commerce, Education, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and Infrastructure were some of the untraditional paths taken by the students apart from the known routes of FMCG, BFSI, IT/ITeS, Consulting, Automobile and Power.

Sales and Marketing
This sector recruited 29% of the students. The top recruiters from the FMCG area were Hindustan Unilever, ITC, PepsiCo, HCCB, Pidilite, Britannia, Johnson and Johnson Consumer, Dabur, SABMiller, Marico and Emami. ITC was the major recruiter in this area.
The top telecom companies were Airtel, Vodafone and Idea. The top Pharmaceutical companies included Abbott, Boehringer Ingelheim and GSK Pharma. The international offers were given by IFFCO International, UAE and a Singapore based conglomerate.
From the media industry, the top recruiters were Sony Entertainment, HT Media and Network18. E-Commerce recruiters included Flipkart, Ebay, Valyoo and CommonFloor, which was a first time recruiter.
Other top recruiters in this sector were Metro Cash and Carry, Madura F & L, Philips, Panasonic, Dell, Akzonobel and Mother Dairy.
This was another major recruiting domain. The top recruiters included Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte S & O, PwC, KPMG, Cognizant Business Consulting, TCS Global Consulting Group and Capgemni. WNS and EXL services also made offers.
One of the students was recruited by Access Livelhood Consulting, the company works towards the aim of promoting sustainable livelihoods for the economically marginalized.
The overall percentage of offers made in this domain was 14. Leadership roles were offered by the companies like TAS, Mahindra, Reliance Industries, Cipla, Ranbaxy, Robert Bosch, Ericsson, JSPL, Trident Group and Apollo Hospital.
This area had 8% recruitment in different areas like Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics and Infrastructure Management. Procter & Gamble was the major recruiter in the Supply Chain Management domain. Other major recruiters were Tata Steel, Cummins, Future Supply Chain, Daimler, Tata Power, Godrej & Boyce and Sudarshan Chemicals. L&T offered job in Middle East.
In IT domain, 9% of the recruitment took place. Microsoft IDC hired for the role of Program Manager. GE and HUL offered roles in corporate IT and IT leadership roles. Accenture, Mindtree and Wipro recruited for IT Consulting role. HCL Technologies recruited for Global Engagement Manager profile. Zycus, JDA, Comviva, MAQ Software offered roles on Project Management, Sales Engagement and Business Development roles. The highest domestic salary was offered from this domain only.
HR roles were offered by companies like Infosys and Hunt Partners. PSUs such as BPCL, HPCL, Indian Bank and REC were also among the top recruiters.
