The world is going through what is popularly called ‘digital transformation’, revolutionizing the way we live - the way we communicate, consume, use time, and work. A lot of what we know as work is being taken over by progressively intelligent machines. This is likely to have a disruptive impact on the future of human work – not just routine manual blue collar work but also non-routine cognitive white collar work. The HR Conclave had speakers analyze the implications of this disruption for the human workforce. It also had in-depth discussions on how HR can enable the Digital Enterprise and explored ways of building skills necessary for the Digital World.
The present field of HR is dynamic than ever before and HR professionals aim to improve employee skills in order to maximise the possibilities created by new technologies and adapt to the rapidly shifting organisational context that surrounds them.
The Keynote Speaker of the HR Conclave was Mr. Nihar Ranjan Ghosh, Nihar Ghosh President Human Resources, Emami Group.
There were two panel discussions that were moderated by Professor Charanpreet Singh, Founder Director, Praxis Business School Foundation and Professor Prithwis Mukerjee, Director, Praxis Business School. Professor Kankana Paul compered the event and walked the audience through the HR Conclave.
