FMS Delhi Postpones Admission GD-PI Amidst Coronavirus
NEW DELHI: Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi recently announced the shortlist of candidates who had to appear for the admission of the academic year 2020. The shortlist was for Extempore/GD and Personal Interview rounds which were to be held on March 12. But due to COVID 19 outbreak, FMS Delhi released a notification. Along with FMS Delhi, various other top B-Schools are also postponing their major events that will include public gatherings.
Following the advisory of Government of India, all the interviews, group discussion and selection rounds of MBA (FT), MBA (Executive), MBA (Executive HCA) has now been postponed by FMS Delhi. Keeping in view the safety of its candidates, faculty and other associated persons, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi has taken the decision. Any further update with regard to COVID 19 and admission 2020 will be informed to associated people on the website of Faculty of Management Studies i.e. FMS Delhi only. Candidates are advised to check the University website on regular basis to avoid any further delay.
FMS Delhi Admission Process For Academic Year 2020-2022
Step 1 - Candidates should have CAT score and should have the minimum required sectional and overall percentile considered for the first stage of the shortlisting process for admission at FMS Delhi.
Step 2 - Shortlisted candidates need to appear for extempore, GD and PI rounds in which was going to be held from April 14 onwards. The same has been postponed.
Step 3 - After completion of GD & PI round, selected candidates will be offered admissions by the FMS Delhi. Final selection of candidates will be based on performance in CAT, overall performance in GD & PI round as well as past academic records.
Step 4 - On the basis of the composite score of the candidate, final admission offer will be made in April 2020.
