FMS Delhi announces admission 2017; last date to apply November 30
The Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi has announced its admission notification for the MBA batch of 2017-19. A section-wise weight-age of 30%, 30%, and 40% will be given to QA, DI/LR and VRC sections of CAT 2016 respectively for shortlisting students. The application process for FMS Delhi will close on November 30, 2016.
According to the shortlisting process, candidates will first be shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2016 composite scores, and will later be called for personal interview and extempore speech rounds.
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45%) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor's Degree may also apply.
Application and Selection Procedure
Only those candidates who have applied for admissions will be considered for shortlisting. Eligible candidates have to apply to the MBA programme (2017-18) by submitting the form online along with the fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs 350 for SC/ST/PWD candidates) before the deadline of November 30, 2016.
Shortlisting candidates for Personal Interview
To encourage gender diversity and academic discipline, for shortlisting candidates, different weight-age are assigned to the scores of each of the CAT 2016 sections. A composite score will be computed giving weight-age of 30%, 30% and 40% to the scores of QA, DI/LR and VRC section respectively of CAT 2016. An additional 3 marks will be added to the Composite scores in case of women candidates. The composite score will be used for shortlisting candidates for personal interview and selection rounds.
Admission Merit list
From the shortlisted candidates, admission to MBA programme will be based on the Extempore Speech, Personal Interview, and CAT 2016 scores. An additional 3% of the maximum aggregate marks will be given to women candidates who will appear for the interview while drawing the list of selected candidates. The components and weights for the final selection procedure are given in the table below.

For the MBA 2017-19 batch there is a total of 200 seats reserved for different categories. The seats are:
Total Seats- 200
Unreserved General- 101
Reserved- SC- 30, ST-15, OBC-54
Supernumerary seats- PWD-6, CW-10, FS-10

If you have secured the minimum cutoff of BHU’s FMS will be called for the admission process of the colleges which includes the GD/PI rounds.
The final selection of the candidates is made upon the performance of the candidates in CAT 2020 and the admission rounds. Here the academic record of the candidates is also considered.
Hence there is a chance of getting into FMS BHU .

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that FMS MBA will release its application form soon. You can check on official website of FMS regularly as FMS has announced the release of forms in October month only. The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have secured atleast 50 percent marks in graduation. Reserve category students can have 45 percent.

Let me make one thing clear. The only thing that you can stop you from getting admission in these reputated institutions is the same who can get you admission. It is you.
Always remember your will power is the one standing between you and your admission in these colleges.
Now you have already appeared for 12th and youu cannot change that. What you can change is your tenacity and your urge to succeed.

Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi, offers admission to its MBA program based on the CAT score. The Only Way to get access to FMS, Delhi for MBA Program, is through the CAT examination. There is no other way to get admission in the college.

Hi, I am appearing for cat 2020, When should i apply for FMS , whether after cat exam or before the cat exam in October to November?
As per your query, FMS Delhi opens the online portal for registration from october and it closes in november . You have to register for the same before CAT Exam that is on 29th Nov.
The guidelines for registration are:
