DU BMS CET 2013 Analysis
The DU BMS CET 2013 exam was conducted by FMS, University of Delhi on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. The exam had 4 sections, General Awareness, General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section had 25 questions hence the total number of questions was 100. Each question carried 3 marks. Hence the total marks of the paper was 300. There was negative marking of 1 mark.
The overall difficulty level of the exam can be termed as easy to moderate. Let us have a look at the detailed section wise analysis.
This section had mixed questions from current affairs and static GK. The current affairs questions were on business awareness and economics. The static GK questions were on Polity, Books and Authors etc. The difficulty level of this section was moderate.
This section is a mix of Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary. There were 2 Reading Comprehension passages which had 10 questions. The questions were direct and easy to answer. The questions on Vocabulary were of moderate difficulty level. Questions on Fill in the Blanks and Spelling were also asked. Overall, this section can be rated as Easy to Moderate. The Reading Comprehension part was easy and the Vocabulary part was moderate.
Analytical and Logical Reasoning
This section was of easy difficulty level. The questions appeared from Logical and Mathematical Reasoning areas. The topics from which most of the questions were asked were Deductive Logic, Statement Assumptions, Analogy, Visual Reasoning, Series, Data Interpretation and Arrangements.
The difficulty level of this section can be considered as easy to moderate. Majority questions were from Higher Math. The other questions were on Number System, Arithmetic, Permutations and Combinations, Algebra, Geometry and Probability.
Expected Cut off
According to Career Launcher, the cut off would range from 200 to 216.The result will be declared on Tuesday, July 2. 2013.

Questions related to DU JAT
i have basic maths in my 12th in banglore (should be considered as bussiness maths for b.com in du). So considering im a basic maths/ bussiness maths student ,am i eligible for DU JAT BMS entrance based exam?
Well, for DU JAT BMS:
Every candidate, in order to apply for the DU JAT 2020 exam must have qualified/cleared Class 12 examination of any board/university exam in India or in any foreign country exam recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
- Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS): Selection will be based on the rank computed from the combined weighted average of percentage scored in the entrance test
So, definitely you are eligible for it...

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. however based on previous years closing score analysis, you have chances in,

however this names of colleges are just analysis of previous years closing ranks, it is liable to change every year.

wheb will du jat cut off will be released?
The first cut off for DU JAT has already been released by Universityof Delhi on 26 october 2020. And the last date to take admission was 28 october 2020. They have mentioned the list of eligible and non eligible students. It will declare its second merit list on November 2 if seats are vacant.

Yes you are eligible for DU JAT B.M.S. To be eligible for DU JAT a candidate should have qualified/cleared Class 12 examination of any board/university exam in India. Candidates filling the application form of DU JAT were required to have cleared or passed individually in each subject. For Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS) selection will be based on the rank computed from the combined weighted average of percentage scored in the entrance test.

The cutoffs for general category candidates are usually in the range of 150-700 for BMS and BBA branches and 300-1000 for BBE branch. So, you can understand.
