DMS, IIT Delhi Final Placement Report 2017 - Sales and Marketing emerges as top domain

iit-delhi-final-placementThe Department of Management Studies (DMS), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi has successfully completed its final placement process for the  management batch of 2015-17. Recording 100 per cent placements, a total of 46 students participated in the placement drive. The session witnessed offers from companies like Reckitt Benckiser, Google, GE, Pernord Ricard, Amazon, Crisil, Bosch, HPCL, IOCL, Dell, National Instruments, Bank of America, Deloitte, among others.

The management batch of DMS, IIT Delhi 2015-17 comprises of 62 per cent experienced and 38 per cent fresher students. The summer internships opted by candidates pertained to various industrial domains like – Operations, Sales and Marketing, Finance etc. The table below elaborates the domain-wise distribution.

The highest salary offered by some of the top recruiting firms present at the placement was INR 27.07 lpa, while the lowest remained at INR 8.00 lpa. Further, the average salary offered at the time of placement was INR 16.21 lpa and the average top 25 per cent salary offered was INR 20.01 lpa.
