IIM Lucknow, the conducting body of CAT for the year 2017, has released the admit card of CAT 2017 on October 25, 2017, at 1 PM. Although the original date of admit card release was October 18, it was postponed by a week. The last day to download the admit card is November 26, 2017, which is CAT 2017 exam day.

Steps to download CAT 2017 Admit Card
Visit the CAT 2017 official website or click on the above link
Enter your CAT 2017 login credentials, i.e. User ID and password
Click on the tab indicating CAT 2017 Admit Card
Download the CAT 2017 admit card and take at least two printouts
Save the copy of CAT admit card 2017 in either soft copy or print out for future reference

CAT 2017 will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017, in CAT exam centres located in 140 cities across India. According to the CAT 2017 exam pattern, the test will be of three hours duration with three sections, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR) and Quantitative Ability (QA). The sections will be time bound for one hour each. The number of questions is 100 with 34 questions each in VARC and QA and 32 questions in DI & LR.
The application process of CAT 2017 was available from August 9 to September 25, 2017. Only those candidates who have completed the application process successfully by paying the application fee will be eligible to download the CAT admit card.
This year, around 2,31,000 candidates have applied for CAT 2017, which is marginally lesser than that of last year, which was 2,32,000. The total number of registrations was 2,80,000. The result of CAT 2017 is expected to be declared in the second week of January 2018.

CAT is a National level Common Entrance test to pursue MBA in IIM's and Business Schools. To write CAT exam one must have passed graduation from a recognised Board of University. Final year graduation students are also allowed to write the CAT exam. If you do MBA in an IIM or Top B school, the career and placement opportunities are excellent. As a fresher one can earn minimum 5-10 lakhs after MBA.

The CAT cutoff for NIAM Jaipur is mostly around 65- 70 percentile. The CMAT cutoff is around 45- 50 percentile.
But the CAT/ CMAT percentile has only 20% weightage in the selection process. You also have essay writing and group discussion which carry 20% weightage each. The personal interview carries 30% weightage along with 5% weightage of extempore or micro presentation and 5% of work experience. Hope it helps.
