CAT 2015 Mock Test Released on October 29
The CAT 2015 Mock Test has been released by IIM in its official website on October 29. Although the original schedule to release the Mock Test was October 15, it was postponed by 2 weeks. The Mock Test is of 3 hours duration, 1 hour allotted for each section.
LATEST: CAT 2016 mock test starts on October 24, 2016
Upon signing in the instructions page will follow and before moving to the actual CAT 2015 Mock Test, you have to click on the check box agreeing to the terms and conditions.
The order of the sections will be as follows:
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension – 34 questions
Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning – 32 questions
Quantitative Ability – 34 questions
The total marks of the test is 300 marks, each question carrying 3 marks and negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
The CAT 2015 Mock Test gives the aspirants the impression of the actual test and make you well acquainted with the navigation system.
Questions are mix of MCQ and Non-MCQ types
As per the new exam pattern, the questions per section are a mix of MCQs and Non-MCQs. For e,g. in the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section, out of 34 questions, 24 are MCQs and 10 are non-MCQs. In Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning section has 8 non-MCQs out of 32 questions.
The navigation system is also similar to that of previous years. However, instead of inter-section movements, candidates can visit any question by clicking on the question number at the Question Palette.
On Screen Calculator and Timer
The much awaited on screen calculator is placed at the top right side of the screen, right below the on screen timer. Along with the basic calculations, it also includes calculation options for Algebra and Trigonometry.
The on screen timer will show you the countdown of 1 hour and right after 60 minutes, the section will automatically switch to the next one.
Option for Mark for Review
Like the previous years, the candidates will get the option to mark a question for review. After you answer the rest of the questions, you can revisit the marked question to review your answer. The legends given below the Question Palette section to help you identify the Answered, Not Answered, Marked and Not Visited questions of the section.
Although you can revise a particular section after completing the questions, there is no scope for overall revision since the sections are time bound.
However, the candidates must note that the purpose of CAT 2015 Mock Test is to give you the impression of the test and the difficulty level, question types, number of MCQ and Non-MCQ may vary in the actual test.
CAT 2015 will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 in 99 cities and 307 test centers across India in 2 slots. The Admit Card has been made available for download from October 25. The result is expected to be declared in the second week of January, 2016. The exam has been registered by 2,18,664 candidates.

Whereas GMAT stands for The graduate management admission test. It is a global exam which is held across the nations for MBA.

Muslim Minority Category falls under BC in a broader spectrum and BC-E. With a score of 415, you might hve a border line chance with Ayan Institute of Medical Sciences. The rest of the Colleges have higher cut offs. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Also it too depends upon last years cut-off. Adding it with 15% All India quota and 85% state quota seats in government colleges. For SC category there is 15% seat reservation . In Telangana there are 8 government colleges with 1440 seats. And there are a total of 18 private colleges with 2650 seats.

As per your query, FMS Delhi opens the online portal for registration from october and it closes in november . You have to register for the same before CAT Exam that is on 29th Nov.
The guidelines for registration are:
- Candidates with minimum 50% marks at the graduation level (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/ PWD/CW: 45% as per the University rules) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
Steps to follow for registration:
- Create your Login
- Verify your Email ID
- Fill the Online Application Form
- Upload the Required Scanned documents
- Pay the Application Fee
- Things to take care : You will need to submit subjective responses (essays) for 5 questions . You will need a couple of hours to finish the application process.
