12:00 Noon: The 3 hours wait is over as CAT 2015 Slot 1 Ends.
9:15 AM: The test venue premises are almost vacant with some parents or friends waiting. While some choose to wait for 3 hours to take their wards along, others leave the center. On the other hand, inside the test center the candidates take their respective seats after completing the biometric checking process. The invigilators instruct them to remain seated quietly and follow their instructions strictly. They are not allowed to touch their computer systems.
9:00 AM: The gates have been closed. The officials are denying entry to the late comers. After lot of persuasion, the gates re-open only to be closed soon after.
8:45 AM: It is time to close the entry gates. Late comers are seen rushing towards the center before their entry is denied. The candidates who had forgotten pasting photograph are also seen entering after making the amends.
8:30 AM: Despite the clear instructions, some candidates have missed pasting their passport size photographs on the Admit Card. They request the officials to let them enter but are not obliged. On the other hand, some candidates have already signed in the Candidate Signature space, despite the instruction that the signature has to be made only in presence of the invigilators. The authorities ask the candidates to deposit their personal belongings to their acquaintances. Only those who are alone are allowed to carry their belonging inside, only to be deposited outside their exam hall.
8:15 AM: The entry process starts at the center as the candidates maintain discipline by queuing up. The test center officials check the CAT 2015 Admit Card and ID proof of the candidates meticulously by matching the names and photographs in both the documents.
8:00 AM: Chaos ensues as more and more test takers huddle in front of the notice board looking up to their seat allotment system. Amidst the chaos and confusion, some candidates are seen waiting at a corner in the far end, discussing with their peers and revising from notes. They have either noted down their seat number or will be doing it just before entering at 8.45 AM, the official schedule to close the entry gates.
7:45 AM: The crowd of test centers along with their parents or accomplices start increasing at the exam venue. The test center authorities announce the candidates to queue up for the entry process.
7:30 AM: Although the official entry time has started, very few look interested in going inside. They seem to hold on to the moment to glance through their notes for last minute revision.
7:20 AM: More candidates reach the exam center. While some are seen to be waiting inside their vehicles along with family members, some actively look up to the notice board to check their seating arrangement and instructions.
7:00 AM: Although the entry time at the CAT 2015 centers is 7.30 AM, serious test takers are seen to be entering the test venue premises as early as 7 AM in the chilly November morning.

see cutoff score changes in every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. however at this score you have less chances for nits or gftis in any of the stream. however you should apply for state counselling based on jee main score.

I noticed yesterday that my DOB is wrong in the form.I mailed the authorities but they said noting can be done.Has anyone faced such a problem before? Were they able to give the exam?Did it affect the later process? Is there any solution to this? KIndly help me out.I prepared diligently for this(CAT)
see you should be very careful while applying for any exam or form filling. however you may still get the admit card and participate in the exam. but at the time of document verification you have to face questions about the wrong dob. later it would be solely depends on the exam authority whether they would accept the application or not.

can a ews category student apply for private medical college? and is the fees same for gen cat. and ews cat. student for private medical college?
The EWS category is an official reservation category that needs to be considered for admission into every college. So college consider EWS category also as other category. You can surely apply for private medical College.
Most of the colleges doesn't have fees as per the reservation. The fees seems to be same for every student. There might be some college that may offer scholarship to reserved category students .
Hope that helps.
