CAT 2015 Admit Card; Download Starts from October 25
The Indian Institute of Management has released the Admit card of CAT 2015 for the candidates who have registered for the test successfully. Students can now download the admit card from the official website of CAT from October 25 1pm till the morning of exam day- November 29, 2015.
The release of CAT 2015 admit card was postponed by 10 days from the original schedule of Thursday, October 15, 2015. The reason of the delay was the extension of application deadline from September 20 to 25. This year, the admit cards are gender neutral, i.e. it does not mention the gender of the candidate. Incidentally, this year 80 transgender candidates have registered for the test out of total 2,18,664 applications.

Only the registered candidates will be able to download the CAT 2015 Admit Card. Since last year, when CAT underwent massive changes in multiple aspects, the CAT Admit Card is not available instantly after the application is over, but has to be downloaded from the website from the scheduled date.
There are no changes in the process of obtaining the CAT 2015 Admit Card. To download the CAT 2015 Admit Card, students have to visit the official website, log-in with their credentials and download the same. Only the candidates with photograph and signature on admit card will be allowed to appear in the test on the schduled day.
The CAT 2015 Admit Card is the most important document for appearing in the exam apart from the Photo Identity Card. The hard copy of the admit card will not be sent, hence the candidates must take the print outs and preserve it carefully. Not only for the CAT 2015, the admit card will continue to be an important document till the entire application process is over.
The application process started from Thursday, August 6 and ended on Friday, September 25, 2015. The application deadline was extended by 5 days from September 20, 2015. The total number of registrations received for CAT 2015 is 2,18,664. This is an 11% increase compared to last year and highest number in the past 5 years. Another significant observation, this year in CAT, is the fall of engineer candidates by over 6000 despite the prestigious MBA entrance exam witnessing record six-year high applications. Compared to last year, as much as 38 per cent more non-engineers have registered for CAT 2015, thus taking their share up by 9 per cent in the overall application pool.
CAT 2015 exam pattern has undergone major changes. The test will now have 3 sections instead of 2, Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal & Reading Comprehension (VRC) and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR), having total 100 questions, 34 in QA and VRC and 32 in DI & LR. The duration will be 3 hours, 1 hour for each section. Unlike last year, the sections will be time bound and no switching of sections would be allowed.
This year IIM Ahmedabad is conducting CAT 2015. In the year 2009, when CAT became computer based, IIM Ahmedabad too was the conducting body under the convenorship of Dr. Satish Deodhar. This year Prof. Tathagata Bandyopadhyay is the Convenor.
CAT 2015 will be conducted for the admission in 19 IIMs and around 100 B-schools across India. Last year, the total number of applicants was 1,96,988 and the actual number of test takers was 1,67,830. It is expected that the actual number of test takers in CAT 2015 would be over 2 lakh.

Questions related to CAT
I am general cat Jharkhand girl student with jee main percentile of about 90.5 in 2020 so can I get bit sindhri?
As you have secured 90.5 percentile score in JEE mains from general category then your all India rank must be around 105000. Now if you want to take admission in BIT Sindri on the basis of your general category all India rank then yes, you can get admission in BIT Sindri as per seeing the last year cutoff Trends.
Here is the last year (2019) cutoff Trends for general category students on the basis of their all India rank for BIT Sindri for all branches :-
Mechanical engineering - 85548
Electrical engineering - 86089
Production engineering - 128980
Metallurgy - 96231
Chemical engineering - 121628
Civil engineering - 99706
Electronics and communication engineering - 69402
Information technology - 66486
Mining engineering - 107097
Computer science and engineering - 49946
So as you can see this year there is a chance that you can easily get chemical engineering, production engineering and mining engineering. But the chances are very hard for you to get civil engineering and metallurgy branch in BIT Sindri.
I got 346 marks.My air is 252953.My cat Rank is 27,147.Can i get seat?
You have provided all the details but have missed out mentioning the category itself,, considering you as General, from your profile it seems you belong to Telangana, chances for GMC is quite difficult in your case and further taking into consideration the fact that there are greater chances of cut-offs increasing this year make it more tough, you should try other options of private colleges or deemed universities regarding this, cutoffs vary every year based on multiple factors such as seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc. check out previous year cut-offs at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-telangana , to know more about admission possibilities in various colleges you can use our NEET College Predictor; https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

My branch is Electrical Engineering and in my college i have very less chance of placements . So what jobs should i go for so that it could be counted as work experience if I want to go for CAT exam ?
For MBA , work experience is not compulsory. You can get into MBA colleges without a work experience. It's like good food placed in a good plate. If you have a work experience you will get a good job or with more package . Otherwise it will depend on your academics.
