Owing to the new exam pattern, completing the exam in the allotted duration proved to be the major challenge.
Easy Quant but Tough Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Harshita, a test taker from Delhi shared, “I had taken CAT last year as well but this year I am found it tougher. The Quant area was tough but the DI area was time consuming and calculation intensive. Logical Reasoning was the toughest section according to me.”
Sanjay, a CAT taker of first slot said, “The exam went well for me. I am expecting about 85 percentile. I found the LR questions to be tricky.”

Arjun Srivastav, a test taker from Sarita Vihar center said, “The exam was of moderate difficulty level. I found the questions to be manageable. I attempted more questions from the Quant section and lesser from the Verbal/Reading Comprehension part.”
Namrata, another candidate claimed that the time management didn’t pose to be much of a challenge, however, LR was tougher. “I did not attempt much of the questions from LR but focused on Verbal Ability instead.
Easy to Moderate Verbal Ability
The Verbal Ability section was of easy to moderate difficulty level. The area was a mix of Reading Comprehension and English Usage questions. Several candidates decided to skip the RC passages and focus more on the Verbal Ability/English Usage questions.
Puja, a test taker in the Rohini center stated, “I had planned to attempt the Reading Comprehension questions at the end as it is time consuming. So I attempted as many English Usage questions like Para Jumble, Fill in the Blanks etc. and 1 of the 4 RC passages.”
Harshita from the Sarita Vihar candidate shared, “The English section was easier compared to the Logical Reasoning part. So I decided to attempt the Verbal Ability section first. The RC passages were quite simple and the questions were direct too.”

Questions related to CAT
I am general cat Jharkhand girl student with jee main percentile of about 90.5 in 2020 so can I get bit sindhri?
As you have secured 90.5 percentile score in JEE mains from general category then your all India rank must be around 105000. Now if you want to take admission in BIT Sindri on the basis of your general category all India rank then yes, you can get admission in BIT Sindri as per seeing the last year cutoff Trends.
Here is the last year (2019) cutoff Trends for general category students on the basis of their all India rank for BIT Sindri for all branches :-
Mechanical engineering - 85548
Electrical engineering - 86089
Production engineering - 128980
Metallurgy - 96231
Chemical engineering - 121628
Civil engineering - 99706
Electronics and communication engineering - 69402
Information technology - 66486
Mining engineering - 107097
Computer science and engineering - 49946
So as you can see this year there is a chance that you can easily get chemical engineering, production engineering and mining engineering. But the chances are very hard for you to get civil engineering and metallurgy branch in BIT Sindri.
I got 346 marks.My air is 252953.My cat Rank is 27,147.Can i get seat?
You have provided all the details but have missed out mentioning the category itself,, considering you as General, from your profile it seems you belong to Telangana, chances for GMC is quite difficult in your case and further taking into consideration the fact that there are greater chances of cut-offs increasing this year make it more tough, you should try other options of private colleges or deemed universities regarding this, cutoffs vary every year based on multiple factors such as seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc. check out previous year cut-offs at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-telangana , to know more about admission possibilities in various colleges you can use our NEET College Predictor; https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

My branch is Electrical Engineering and in my college i have very less chance of placements . So what jobs should i go for so that it could be counted as work experience if I want to go for CAT exam ?
For MBA , work experience is not compulsory. You can get into MBA colleges without a work experience. It's like good food placed in a good plate. If you have a work experience you will get a good job or with more package . Otherwise it will depend on your academics.
