CAT 2013 was held in a 20-day window from 16 October to 11 November 2013. The 20-day testing window which followed a consistent exam pattern remained glitch free except Day-10 when a wrong question appeared at a few test centres.
More seats at IIMs:
While the number of seats at IIMs has gone up from 3220 in 2012 to 3335 this year, CAT 2013 witnessed the lowest number of CAT takers as compared to past years. The final number of CAT 2013 Registration dropped to 1.94 lakh, according to the official data shared with Careers360.com by CAT Convenor Dr Rohit Kapoor. The total number of test takers this year has further fallen with only 1.74 lakh candidates appearing for the test. In the year 2008, around 2, 90,000 candidates had registered for the prestigious MBA entrance exam. Since then the number has dipped barring a few exception where it showed signs of revival.

Wrong Question in CAT 2013:
The IIMs were caught on the wrong foot on Day 10 when many students from a few centres reported an error in one of the questions under Data Interpretation section even as CAT testing agency confirmed that around 300 test-takers were affected with the ‘publishing error’ in CAT test paper. The wrong question was reported from many CAT 2013 centres with candidates in disbelief that their precious testing time was wasted on attempting a wrong question.
According to the test takers, a set of questions under DI was incomplete and the data given was insufficient to solve the question. Data Interpretation (DI) is part of the first section of the paper along with Quantitative Ability in CAT paper. The section comprises around 10 questions from DI and 20 questions from Quant. Each question carries 3 marks and a wrong answer invites one negative marks.
The IIMs, which earlier sought to downplay the episode, now say that the affected candidates, who faced a wrong question on day 10 will be evaluated on their performance barring the wrong question that appeared in their test paper. In a delayed response to the repeated queries from Careers360 on the fate of about 300 affected CAT takers, CAT 2013 Convenor Dr Rohit Kapoor said that the performance of the affected candidates will be evaluated on 59 correct questions instead of total 60 questions that appeared in the CAT 2013 paper during the test.

I am general cat Jharkhand girl student with jee main percentile of about 90.5 in 2020 so can I get bit sindhri?
As you have secured 90.5 percentile score in JEE mains from general category then your all India rank must be around 105000. Now if you want to take admission in BIT Sindri on the basis of your general category all India rank then yes, you can get admission in BIT Sindri as per seeing the last year cutoff Trends.
Here is the last year (2019) cutoff Trends for general category students on the basis of their all India rank for BIT Sindri for all branches :-
Mechanical engineering - 85548
Electrical engineering - 86089
Production engineering - 128980
Metallurgy - 96231
Chemical engineering - 121628
Civil engineering - 99706
Electronics and communication engineering - 69402
Information technology - 66486
Mining engineering - 107097
Computer science and engineering - 49946
So as you can see this year there is a chance that you can easily get chemical engineering, production engineering and mining engineering. But the chances are very hard for you to get civil engineering and metallurgy branch in BIT Sindri.
I got 346 marks.My air is 252953.My cat Rank is 27,147.Can i get seat?
You have provided all the details but have missed out mentioning the category itself,, considering you as General, from your profile it seems you belong to Telangana, chances for GMC is quite difficult in your case and further taking into consideration the fact that there are greater chances of cut-offs increasing this year make it more tough, you should try other options of private colleges or deemed universities regarding this, cutoffs vary every year based on multiple factors such as seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc. check out previous year cut-offs at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-telangana , to know more about admission possibilities in various colleges you can use our NEET College Predictor; https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

My branch is Electrical Engineering and in my college i have very less chance of placements . So what jobs should i go for so that it could be counted as work experience if I want to go for CAT exam ?
For MBA , work experience is not compulsory. You can get into MBA colleges without a work experience. It's like good food placed in a good plate. If you have a work experience you will get a good job or with more package . Otherwise it will depend on your academics.
