The Hall Tickets for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) 2015 are now available for download from Saturday, May 2, 2015. Only the candidates who have registered for the test will be able to download the Hall Ticket.

Steps to download the Hall Ticket:

  • Enter your Application Number

  • Enter your Date of Birth in DD/MM/YY format

  • Click on Get Hall Ticket

The Hall Ticket will include the personal information of the candidate such as name, address, contact details etc. along with the test center name and address. The test day instructions will also be there for the candidates’ perusal.

The original date for hall ticket was April 30, 2015 which was postponed till May 2.

Application Schedule

The registration process is still going on with late fee. The schedule for late registration along with the late fee amount is given in the table below:

With late fee of Rs. 5,000

Monday, May 4, 2015

With late fee of Rs. 10,000

Monday, May 11, 2015

The registration process had started from March 14, 2015. The last date of application without late fee was April 13, 2015.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. While the preliminary answer key will be declared on May 20, 2015, the final answer key and result will be declared on May 28, 2015.

APICET 2015 will be a paper pencil based test of 2.5 hours duration. The total number of multiple choice objective type questions is 200, divided among 3 sections, Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. Each question carries 1 mark. Hence the total marks of the paper is 200. There is no negative marking.  

 

APICET is the MBA entrance exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) for the state of Andhra Pradesh. Till last year, the exam was known as Integrated Common Entrance Test or ICET. Owing to the bifurcation of the state and the emergence of the new state Telangana, the exam has been renamed.

Syllabus is provided below :-


  • Analytical ability section :- It has question from Data Sufficiency, Problem Solving etc.

  • Problem solving ":- Sequences and Series i.e. Analogies of numbers and alphabet, completion of blank spaces following the pattern in a: b :: c:d relationship; odd thing out: missing number in a sequence or a series. Data Analysis i.e. The data given in a Table, Graph, bar diagram, Pie Chart, Venn diagram or a Passage is to be analyzed and the questions pertaining to the data are to be answered. Coding and Decoding Problems i.e. A code pattern of English Alphabet is given. A given word or a group of letters are to be coded or decoded based on the given code or codes. Date, Time & Arrangement Problems i.e. Calendar problems, clock problems, blood relationships, arrivals, departures and schedules, seating arrangements, symbol and notation interpretation.

Arithmetical ability:- Laws of indices, ratio and proportion; surds; numbers and divisibility, l.c.m. and g.c.d; Rational numbers, Ordering.; Percentages; Profit and loss; Partnership, Pipes and cisterns, time, distance and work problems, areas and volumes, mensuration, modular arithmetic.


  • Algebraic and geometrical ability :- Statements, Truth tables, implication converse and inverse, Tautologies-Sets, Relations and functions, Equation of a line in different forms, Polynomials, Remainder theorem and consequences, Linear equations and expressions, Progressions, Binomial Theorem, Matrices, Notion of a limit and derivative, Plane geometry-lines, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Circles, Coordinate geometry-distance between points, Trigonometry Trigonometric ratios, Trigonometric ratios of standard angles, (0, 30, 45, 60, 90, 180): Trigonometric identities: sample problems on heights and distances .

  • Statistical ability :- Frequency distributions, Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation, Correlation, simple problems on Probability.
  • Communication ability :- Identify vocabulary used in day-to-day communication.Understand the functional use of grammar in day-to-day communication as well as in business contexts.Identify the basic terminology and concepts in computer and business contexts (letters, reports, memoranda, agenda, minutes etc.).Understand written text and drawing inferences.Part 1: Vocabulary, Part 2: Business and Computer terminology ,Part 3: Functional Grammar, Part 4: Reading Comprehension (3 Passages)

APICET exam can give the 2020 engineer graduates

Hello,

For APICET 2019 Exam, candidates who have completed their graduation fulfilling the eligibility in terms of aggregate and all, as well as those in the final years were eligible to apply for this exams. Following this norm, the same rule should be applied in 2020 unless specified otherwise by authorities.

Eligibility Criteria for APICET 2019-

Candidates should have completed their Bachelor’s degree from any discipline with a minimum of 3 years or its equivalent, with mathematics as one of the subject in Class 12th and a minimum of 50% in graduation level,For SC/ST/reserved category, it's only 45% in graduation leve l

Candidates in the final year of their graduation or are appearing for the final exams are also eligible for APICET. There's no age bar.


APICET M.B.A Eligibility Criteria-


OC candidates have to secure 50% aggregate to be eligible for the counselling stage.For SC and ST candidates, they need to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in degree and APICET 2019 to qualify for the counselling.

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education on August 23 released the AP ICET 2019 counselling seat allotment result.

There is no new notifications regarding third or second round counselling but you must remain in touch with the college official website and careers360 website.
