Anna University conducts TANCET MBA 2016 on June 11
The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test commonly known as TANCET for MBA has been conducted on June 11 from 02.30 p.m to 04.30 p.m across test centres. The test has been conducted by Anna University, Chennai for admissions to MBA programme at participating institutes. The test has been conducted in an offline paper-pencil based mode, having objective questions.
The duration of the entrance test was 2 hours, which consisted of 100 objective type questions from 5 sections. The exam was divided into sections namely, Reading Comprehension, English Grammar & Usage, Analysis of Business Situation, Quantitative Ability and Data Sufficiency. As per the marking scheme, each question carries 4 marks and for each wrong answer, there is a negative marking of 1 mark. The officials might declare the TANCET MBA 2016 Answer Key in the form of PDF file which can be downloaded by the test takers.
It is likely that the Result of TANCET MBA 2016 will be announced within 10 days of the test, most likely by June 21, 2016. The mark sheets will be dispatched to the candidates within 10 days from the date of publication of results of the entrance test to the address given in the application form. However, the exact date of TANCET MBA 2016 result has not been announced by the officials.
After the results are declared, the candidates have to follow the selection procedure to avail the final admissions into the B-schools. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in TANCET 2016. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the counselling rounds. The final merit list will be declared on the basis of the test performance and counseling.

For reserved candidates it is around 50 percentile

When it comes to admission, your normalized marks will be considered . The formula to calculate the normalized score is 40+ ( 10/ Standard Deviation)(Raw score-mean score) .In general a score of 40-50+ can secure you good colleges.
