AIMS conducts ATMA May 2016 on May 8
The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) has been conducted by the Association of Indian Management School (AIMS) on May 8 for admissions into Management programmes across its participating B-Schools. The test was preponed by AIMS from May 22 to May 8, without specifying the reasons for the same. The test is approximately taken by 12,000 candidates across centres. The result of the test will be announced on May 14, declaring the names of the shortlisted candidates.
As per the Exam Pattern of ATMA May 2016, the exam was of 180 minutes with a total of 180 questions to be answered by the students. The duration of the exam was 3 hours or 180 minutes. Each section had 30 questions. There will be 1 mark for each correct question and 1/3 of negative mark for every wrong answer.

After the test and announcement of results, shortlisted students have to follow the admissions procedure for final admissions in the participating institutes. There are about 135 Participating Institutes of ATMA May 2016, which will select the shortlisted candidates for admissions into their management programmes.

The admit card for ATMA May 2016 was available from May 5, 2016, onwards for the registered candidates only. The schedule for the declaration of ATMA May 2016 is May 14, 2016. Earlier, the date was May 31, 2016.

As, bachelor of commerce is one of the highest demanded programmes in university of delhi, it's cut off is always high. Though the cut offs change every year according to the circumstances and various factors, such as no of students willing to take admission, the competition levels, cut off trends, etc. For atma ram sanatan dharma college, last year the cut off for general category for bcom, the admissions were closed at around 93-94 percent.

The eligibility criteria for B.Com (Hons) in Delhi University is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics/Business Mathematics with 50% aggregate and must have passed in English/Hindi with minimum 60% aggregate. The best subjects that should be included along with English/Hindi from list B are
- Business Studies/ Commerce.
If any subject is mentioned for best three which is not in list B then there will a deduction of 2.5% on the aggregate of best four. Physical education is not listed in list B so if you include this subject then 2.5% will be deducted.

ATMA and MAT score is not accepted by Maharashtra based MMS Colleges for MMS program. ATMA score is only accepted for admission into PGDM courses in Maharashtra colleges.
