Questions related to JEE Main
i got 40k rank in jee mains..can i get good college with cse branch
You have obtained 40,000 rank in JEE Main and are interested in pursuing Computer Science Engineering (CSE). It would be difficult to tell you your exact possibilities without knowing your category and category rank. Nevertheless, it will be very difficult for you to get CSE in good colleges if you belong to General category. Even if you have categories, getting top colleges would be tough. You can use the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link to know which college you can get admission based on your rank and category. https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope it helps you.
I got 66 percentile in jee main then I get any government college
According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 385534 - 264383 and on the basis of this rank you cannot get any of the good government engineering colleges as per previous year's cut-offs but yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks. Some engineering colleges in which you can get admission are enlisted below :-
- RTU Kota
- Amity University
- UPES, Dehradun
- Bikaner Technical University
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-
I hope this information helps you.

i got 75.4 percentile in jee so can iget electrical branch in Jabalpur engineering college??
Hello dear student,
As you have not mentioned you category but the percentile that you have obtained in jee is quite good. So here I am providing you a link from where you can predict in which college you can get admission on the basis of the percentile you have obtained
i got 61 percentile in jee n want to pursue btech but only in Hyderabad so pls let me know the clg
To tell you about your admission possibilities in any college is gonna be tough since the cut-off varies every year based on various factors, but as per your percentile which is 61% your rank would be somewhere around 3,50,000 and with this rank getting into colleges would be tough for you, but I'll recommend you to go for state level counseling of Telangana state and during the choice locking choose all the colleges in Hyderabad to see whether you can get admission in any one of them. You won't be able to get top branches like CSE or IT but you might get civil or mechanical etc. To know more about your admission possibilities in any college use the JEE main college predictor tool
Hope this helps!
