I want to pursue a masters degree after my BNYS in India. looking towards the field of oncology or diabetology

Tanya Gupta 18th Mar, 2024

Hello,

Definitely, after completing your BNYS in India, you have severaloptions to pursue specialization in oncology or diabetology. For oncology, you can explore Master's programs specifically focused on cancer sciences or oncology, covering areas such as diagnosis, treatment, research methodologies, and patient care. Similarly, if you're interested in diabetology, you can look into Master's programs specializing in diabetes management, which delve into the study of diabetes, its complications, management strategies, and preventive measures. Additionally, you may consider MD or MS specializations in oncology or endocrinology, which are medical degrees providing in-depth training in cancer or diabetes-related fields. Alternatively, there are postgraduate diploma courses offering specialized training in oncology or diabetology, catering to individuals seeking shorter-duration programs. For those inclined towards research, opportunities exist to pursue M.Phil. or Ph.D. degrees in oncology or diabetology, focusing on advanced research methodologies and conducting original studies in the chosen field.

is it possible to become a criminal psychologist if i took arts ? what should i do next ... criminology or psychology in ba ?? please help me out

Tanya Gupta 18th Mar, 2024

Hello,

Yes, it's absolutely possible to become a criminal psychologist even if you've pursued arts in your schooling. Many universities offer courses and programs in psychology and criminology that can provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills for a career in criminal psychology.

To pursue a career in criminal psychology, you can consider either a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminology. Both paths can lead you toward your goal, but they offer slightly different perspectives and focuses.

If you're more interested in understanding human behavior and mental processes, you might opt for a BA in Psychology. This program will provide you with a solid foundation in psychological principles and research methods, which can be invaluable in understanding the motivations and behaviors of criminals.

On the other hand, if you're specifically interested in the study of crime, criminal behavior, and the criminal justice system, you might choose to pursue a BA in Criminology. This program will focus more on the sociological and legal aspects of crime, including theories of crime causation, criminal justice policies, and crime prevention strategies.

After completing your bachelor's degree, you can further specialize by pursuing a master's degree or a doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in psychology or criminology with a focus on forensic psychology or criminal psychology. Additionally, gaining practical experience through internships, volunteer work, or research opportunities can also be beneficial for your career aspirations.

hi im mcom student in panjab university. due to some reasons i was not able to give 3 exams in 2nd semester and 2 exams in 4 semester . do you know how many reappear chances do i have?

Tanya Gupta 18th Mar, 2024

Hello,

As per Panjab University's regulations, the number of reappear chances for exams can vary depending on the specific rules and policies set by the university for M.Com students. Typically, universities allow students multiple opportunities to clear their backlogs or reappear for exams. This is also called backpaper which you can appear for along with your current semester.

To get accurate information about the reappear chances available to you, I would recommend contacting your university's examination department or academic advisor.
